Nice and not very heavy

I havent used a MAC in about 20 years. Switching from PC to MAC had me worried about the learning curve and just figuring it out. I got my new MAC yesterday afternoon and I already have 80% of my stuff up and running. Still got some learning to do but I am simply amazed at this machines speed and ability to just know what I am trying to do. LOVE IT!

On day 3 of using this beast and wow. It’s insane.

The display and speakers are well worth the price tag alone and theres a whole computer included. What a machine.

Its one of the best laptops I have ever bought!

This MacBook is a monster machine. However they are a couple of issues that I would like to address.

Battery life is excellent, processor super fast and sufficient for my medium usage

I spent literally three years researching laptops to decide upon an appropriate upgrade. I finally came to the decision that Apple make better quality machines that are more efficient, stay cool more quietly, and run more smoothly than anything in the Microsoft (or Google) ecosystems. After getting my first iPhone last month, I got my first Mac with this device and I have to say it has not disappointed. The M1 chip runs Civilization VI with ease, and any other software I have tried. If you happen to have some Windows-only software, that would be a deal-breaker, but as it happens everything I run works on Mac (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Studio, FTP software, etc. etc.).

I was hoping to purchase Apple Care from the Apple website within the 60 days of buying (I just got my MacBook delivered today), but it turns out that when I tried purchasing Apple Care from the Apple website it just says that the device is ineligible. Really disappointed. Going to return it so I can purchase it from the Apple Website.
