> 3 dayI upgraded from an 2019 15 inch MacBook Pro with touchbar and this thing is GREAT! I have to say that I do miss the touchbar a little, got used to having it suggest items right on the top, but this machine is incredible, battery lasts forever, doesnt run hot, is not noisy, and the screen is phenomenal. Super fast, I use it to run some video editing software as well as running the projector system at our church and this MacBook doesnt even seem to notice the workload. Extremely happy, you wont regret purchasing, specially if you can get it when its on sale and on no-interest payment installment periods.

Greater than one weekI recently purchased a device with the Apple M1 chip, drawn in by its impressive performance claims and energy efficiency. While there were definitely aspects of the M1 chip that lived up to the hype, I ultimately decided to return the device for a few reasons.

Greater than one weekI ordered the M1 max from Amazon. I been a windows user my whole life and due to me needing xcode I decided to get a MacBook to replace my Alienware from 2014. Mac is a little difficult to get used to the shortcuts are different. This thing can ran game maxed out but there is no raytracing. There are a lack of natural MacOS also. The best thing about this MacBook pro is the screen 10/10, the battery 10/10, portable 10/10 and the Sound 10/10. Macsafe is a great feature it keeps you laptop from hitting the floor if you trip, also charges crazy fast.

> 3 dayI have owned a used 2013 and 2016 MacBook Pros. I also have a new desktop from 2013. I was considering updating my desktop when my relative who works in IT suggested getting rid of all the older technology and buying a new MacBook Pro and a 32 inch screen. After some thought I figured if anything went wrong with the screen on my desktop after an upgrade I would be sunk. Since the desktop contains all the running hardware it would be a total loss if the screen died. Therefore my best ROI would be to invest in a new laptop and 32 inch screen. Thankful I made the change with 18 months to pay for the laptop interest free. I will never go back to a Windows machine, too many system problems, viruses and blue screens for me. The constant need to pay for upgrades and MS refusal to support legacy products is a rip off too. I have never had issues with my OS in Mac. No viruses or system problems, free upgrade of OS and fixes for bugs without blue screens.

> 3 dayIm a sucker for Apple products and I upgraded to this laptop because I do most of our businesss stuff on my personal computer. Screen is vivid and huge, built very durable, and the quickness of it is out of this world!

> 3 dayNow, I can no longer stream Airplay without major freezes and glitches, the operating system slows to a crawl when I connect an external hard drive, and I have to constantly restart my machine because if I dont I cant get a dropdown menu for Finder or Adobe. I have used the help pages in vain and Apple Care? Yeah, Apple Care is nothing of the kind. It was a battle to get the information sent to me in the first place. Now when I attempt to get some help I am disconnected from the Apple call center each and every time I call.

> 3 dayThis is an amazing machine; however, my unit appears to have a flaw. It does not charge when shut down and the case is closed. Many people on forums have the same problem. Fortunately, Apple has been very good about addressing this problem with me.
