> 3 dayI am told thermal pads are not so good and I really prefer to use compounds on CPUs and GPUs. I have used Arctic Silver before with no issues.

Greater than one weekArctic Silver has made my first PC building experience easy and enjoyable. The paste is easy to apply and spread. My i7-4790k manages to stay around 75 degrees Celsius under load and around 30 degrees idle with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler. Im sure I could have lowered the temperature even more had I used more paste.
