Probably the best thermal paste you can get. Much better than the factory stuff that comes with aftermarket coolers.

As advertised. This is the only thermal paste that I will use on my computers.

Simple to apply. I used the dot method to apply an uncooked rice sized glob of thermal paste to the center of the CPU. I am using this product with an i5-2500k and an after market Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler and am able to get stable over clocks to 4.6GHz. My temperatures never exceed 65C even when running Prime and other benchmarks to torture the CPU.

In all the reading Ive been doing, I see that these days AS5 gets a bit of a bad rap. Ive seen it called old, outdated, and trash among other things. Well as someone who has used it for years, I had a hard time believing that. In fact, I still have a hard time believing it and dont think this stuff deserves the hate I see it get so often. Sure it may not be the newest. Sure there may be more advanced TIMs out there with quicker cure times and that arent capacitative at all. But you know what? This stuff still gets the job done. And pretty well for my tastes. I recently bought a new tube to re-paste my GPU cooler and to paste a new liquid cooler to my CPU. As for the CPU, it idles in the low to mid 20 C range. Fantastic if you ask me. At full load, it only jumps up to the high 40s to low 50s. Sure I have a great cooler, and that definitely is contributing a lot. But even my GPU has seen improvements. Im getting 10 C less than I used to in the same games since re-pasting with AS5. Previously, playing The Division, I was at 75-80 C. Now in the same game, Im between 65-70 C.

when i update my windows 10, it started to fail on boot even after cleaning exhaust fan. then i was force to go back to windows 8. i was able to upgrade to windows 10 and my computer runs smoothly after replacing the thermal paste on cpu & gpu. i dont even need to turn on the fan. what a big relief!

Upgraded the cpu in my laptop, and was concerned it may run hotter... well with this between the cpu and heat sink, the fan is running less (CPU cooler), than the original slower CPU. Very impressed!
