> 3 dayArctic Silver 5 was awesome a number of years ago, but these days its outdated. Get MX-4 or, better yet, Gelid GC Extreme

> 3 dayArctic Silver tends to be the standard in keeping CPUs and GPUs cool, and this is why I bought this product. The price for this product is reasonable, and the product does not disappoint. Thank you!

> 3 dayRecently Tried to get better Temps on my 2 year old Laptop. Would get up to 82 degrees Celsius under full load with Grizzly Liquid Metal and Arctic MX-4, 85 degrees Celsius with ThermalTake TG-7. With Arctic Silver 5, temps under full load peaked at 72 degrees Celsius and never exceeded it. Idle temps were on average 10 degrees Celsius lower as well. Well worth the money. Wish I had went with this instead of all the others that were a waste of time and money.....

> 3 dayI purchased AS5 in hopes of avoiding yet another motherboard replacement in my laptop (XPS M1530). I have seen temps decrease on my CPU and GPU by up to 10 deg C, and even when the computer is not my laptop cooler, I only hear the fans after very extended use or while streaming media or playing a DVD. Great stuff if you take your time while applying it. Would definitely recommend!
