Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Apply a little bit on the CPU and attach your heat sink, this will do the rest as silver is the second best conductor and most of us cant afford diamonds. This is a must for anyone building a computer.

I needed the thermal grease so that I could safely reinstall ICs in a laptop repair. Worked as I expected.

Ive used Arctic Silver 5 on a handful of computer builds and the stuff is amazing, I will continue to use it as well.

This does everything is says it should very well. I had a red ringed xbox 360 and part of fixing it required more thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. This was easy to apply and easy to spread. Im having no more problems with the xbox, so I can only assume that it is working as it should.

This product is rated to lower the temperature between 1-10 degrees, but thats only if everything else is working fine. My CPU temps had jumped to 85 degrees after the original cooler connection had dried out and cracked. After applying the paste (on the first try, no less) it lowered my temperatures to 50-60 degrees.

Arctic Silver 5 is the best thermal compound on the market. I have tried other brands but none come even close to the Arctic Silver. I use it for every build I do and for any time i replace a heatsink. It runs the coolest of all brands I have tried.

I have been building computers for many years, and always get this for my builds.
