Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Seems to keep the temps down on the Core i5 outside of the stock cooler. Tried a larger and a smaller amount and with this compound it definitely seems like less is more. Try a size smaller than a pea in the middle of the CPU for best results.

Arctic Silver is the best thermal compound Ive used. Ive seen a noticeable difference in laptops as well as gaming systems when re-pasting** the CPU. Anything is an upgrade compared to the cheap chalky paste that comes standard on most boards but I trust this brand because its proven. I recommend

Was using the stock Ryzen thermal paste with the stock fan and noticed that the temps werent what I wanted. Bought this Thermal Paste and the temps went from a consistent 45-50+ to 30+. Very good thermal paste.

This comes recommended across the internet as one of the best thermal pastes out there. What can I say? It works. Thats all there is to it.

I used it one time to mount a heat sink on a CPU, and so far so good. Doesnt take much.
