My laptop fan was continuously running so I bought this, cleaned off the old residue and applied a small dot to the center of my cpu and now the fan actually turns off.

This is THE standard of thermal pastes. Works great on CPUs and can also be used on the Adonit Jot Pro Stylus to make it not skip.

I like this thermal paste I had enough for about 3 maybe 4 usages

No problems between the two CPUs and their heatsinks or on the GPUs processor and heatsink.

I up graded my CPU and my son told me to clean my aftermarket CPU cooler, and use this stuff to fill in small imperfections between the gaps between the cooler and CPU top surface. He also tells me this is supposed to be the best thermal compound that they make. I guess Ill have to take his word for it because it just looks like gray goop to me. what ever you do dont get to much on the CPU surface due to the fact that it is supposed to be electrically conductive and will short out your mother board if it gets in the wrong places, read the instructions carefully and follow exactly what they say. From what I read all of these compounds are like this so be neat and clean about your install.

My CPU started overheating from constantly running BOINC and network computing softwares. So i bought a new cooling fan and used this thermal paste. Its been 2 years since I replaced the thermal paste and it still works. Great quality buy.
