Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Seriously, I never use anything else for my CPUs. Why would you? Maybe someday there will be something better, but until then, this is the best.

Great thermal paste. Used on gaming pc with a i7-8700k overclocked at 5GHz. This thermal paste kept it very cool.

You have to have this compound if you are doing any work on a PC/laptop that involves removing the CPU heat sink. Very convenient to use. Enough for many jobs.

Was doing some upgrades on my laptop so decided I might as well change the coolant. What a bad Idea. Getting temps in the 90s since the change. Tried different methods of applying paste (line,x, ink blob etc) temps are all in the 90s. I got tired of dismantling the laptop to apply the paste so Im leaving things as is.

I have heard through the forums that you have to use this paste with any heatsink that has copper coming in direct contact with the processor. This stuff works extremely well, and a little bit goes a really long way so be careful about how much you apply. I used this on my C2Q9550 and it has kept it extremely cool so far.
