> 3 dayIve been painting with gouache for years and was super excited to try this set. Did not disappoint! The colors are a nice variety, which includes a lot of glittery colors. The colors are a good starting point to then mix and create your own. Works well on most paper, very blendable, water down or leave thick both look great. The only down side is that the tubes are small, so you have to watch out you dont run out of a color before its too late. Overall an awesome purchase!

Greater than one weekVery happy with the set! I love how it can be opaque like acrylic but can be thinned down with water to make it act just like watercolor!! You will love it. Such a fun and versatile medium! Its good for art journals, too.

> 3 dayIve only just started my first painting with these, but they seem to have good dense pigments and beautiful colors. I like having the metallics for some extra oompf. I think these are a great deal for the price.

> 3 dayGood starter set. I used mine for my model train hobby. Thick but not too thick I add a few drops of water to get more mileage out of them.

14-04-2025The gouache is easy to work with. Its highly pigmented. But the metallic colors, have little shine to it. It shows well wet. But when the paint dries, the metallic effect dissappear. Some of the colors are neon. So swatching them, before you start, would be smart. Its a good set for beginners that wants a lot of pre mixed colors.

> 3 dayI bought this set of gouache paint to see how the Arteza brand worked compared to brands I tried before. After playing around with these paints on paper and canvas, I am pleased with the color coverage. This gouache set has a wonderful selection of colors to choose from. The colors from this set work wonderfully for me when I do manga and abstract paintings. I am beyond pleased with the brand and plan to buy a variety of supplies in the future. This brand will be my go-to for gouache paints.

> 3 dayThese paints are very easy to use and very affordable. I like that it comes in tubes, since you can decide yourself whether to use it fresh or make pans, and the amount of paint you get from each tube is reasonable. You can get a wide range of sheerness out of it, with light washes of it working like watercolor while thicker applications can be completely opaque. The colors are vibrant, you get a lot choices. Only issue is that you cant order by the tube if you favor a particular one. If youre looking to get into gouache in an affordable way, these arteza paints are a good way to go. Im sure that if you wanted something about student-grade these wouldnt quite cut it, but for beginners, they work just fine.
