Greater than one weekSorry for the bad swatches, but I really wanted to show what each color looked like. This set was worth every penny because you get colors that would take forever to achieve if you were to do mixing and I also like the color stories that were already set up for you in the box. My swatches are each color story that was premade. The gouache is very creamy, pigmented, and drys to a nice matte finish. They can be layered easily on top of one another and with the color range you can make alot of unique art pieces. Its important to note that even when watered down they still are pigmented. I highly recommend this set for beginners and those who arent a fan of mixing paint and just want colors laid out.

Greater than one weekI GOT A BOOK Get Started with GOUACHE by Emma Block and I got THIS SET OF GOUACHE paints to go with it, per a You Tuber Ive been following. I DO LOVE THESE PAINTS. This is a new medium for me to experiment with. Im not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love to paint my composition book pages before I start to collage/write/decorate the page for the day. These are proving to be a medium I will enjoy a lot and I have a feeling my acrylic paints may NOT be getting replaced as they run out. This set of Gouache paints are really nice. Easy to use, rather spendy, but I believe they will last a long time. Very versatile and beautiful colors in this set.

Greater than one weekI have swatched the colors and am pleasently surprised! I have tried m graham too, the mixing set and think that this arteza set is better. Crazy right. The m graham is smooth and pigmented but 60 tubes vs 5 for the same price? The quality is good enough for sure the quality isnt like cheap dollar store paint just a little inferior to mg... But not much

06-06-2025Bought these for my daughter and she loved them. She found them much better than a previous $10 set she got, theyre bright, less chalky, blendable. The wide range of colors is great for someone starting out that might not know color theory or be very good at mixing colors on your own. Although, these do mix well too if you want to adjust colors. Definitely worth the bit of extra price, but still a very affordable great student grade paints.

> 3 dayThis was a real bargain! I’m a beginner to gouache but not to oils, watercolors or acrylic. That is why I only gave a 3 for “beginners.” I also gave only a 3 for sheerness, as I tend to apply heavily. The colors are just beautiful!!

> 3 dayI love this gouache, the only thing that I would recommend is that you use it right out of the tube, as it dries out very easily, and once it is re activated, its just not the same, at all. Other than that, its great for beginners.

> 3 dayOnly problem I have ever had with Arteza is that they dont sell replacement tubes of any of the paints you can buy. Once the color is used up, you are SOL unless you buy a whole new set. This of course tends to make me look at other paint brands such as Golden or Turner paints.

> 3 daySuper value for the money! I have also used Holbein gouache which is much more expensive and maybe just a little better. This is A great set with lots of colors and even some pearls and metallics. The only issue I have is that the color on the outside of the tube isn’t exactly what’s inside on some of them. They need to make a better match on the labels.
