> 3 dayThe gouache is easy to work with. Its highly pigmented. But the metallic colors, have little shine to it. It shows well wet. But when the paint dries, the metallic effect dissappear. Some of the colors are neon. So swatching them, before you start, would be smart. Its a good set for beginners that wants a lot of pre mixed colors.

> 3 dayThis Arteza set of sixty gouache paint colors is a rotating lightening deal and makes a great purchase for yourself or as a gift. This extended set is very well packaged for long term storage and the box exterior has a handy and well-organized replica of the full palette. The tube sizes are fairly generous and can be used straight from the tube or mixed with water or to complement watercolors. The set includes a generous selection of shimmery colors along with a wide range of every imaginable color. Gouache is easy to use, can add dimension and is very forgiving. It washes up easily. I think this set makes an excellent gift that will inspire hours and hours of fun and talent development. For gift giving, add some nice tablets of watercolor paper and a set of brushes that have just a little stiffness to them.

> 3 dayI GOT A BOOK Get Started with GOUACHE by Emma Block and I got THIS SET OF GOUACHE paints to go with it, per a You Tuber Ive been following. I DO LOVE THESE PAINTS. This is a new medium for me to experiment with. Im not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love to paint my composition book pages before I start to collage/write/decorate the page for the day. These are proving to be a medium I will enjoy a lot and I have a feeling my acrylic paints may NOT be getting replaced as they run out. This set of Gouache paints are really nice. Easy to use, rather spendy, but I believe they will last a long time. Very versatile and beautiful colors in this set.

Greater than one weekThe colors are rich and vibrant. I love them. But you do need to spray seal between layers as they function like watercolor and will lift. Overall, 5 star because just look at these backgrounds… wow.

> 3 dayI received this set for birthday. I’d never used gouache before so I wanted to give it a try. Once mixed with a little water the consistency is perfect. However, once it dries it’s chalky and chips. I feel like these were made to practice getting the consistency right. You can try using very thin layers to avoid cracking. I wouldn’t use these on any commissioned pieces.

> 3 daythese paints are amazing. i love them so much. although this is my first time buying/using gouache paint they seem like very high quality paints. they swatch nicely. some of them are meant to be more or less opaque than others and it tells you which ones are and arent as opaque and the level of opacity. at first i was concerned with how small the tubes were but then i figured out that a little goes a long way so that explains why the tubes arent huge. i would 100% reccommend any artist buy these paints. also 60 paints for $44 is a STEAL in my book :)

> 3 dayThis is a great set for students or anyone wanting to use a large variety of hues and shades. The colors are really pretty, the paint itself is easy to use, as long as you understand Gouache. It’s also a good set if you’re tired of having to mix shades by hand. I find they all blend and perform well.
