> 3 dayNice set of gouache. A mix of names artist colors as well as unique named colors(ex: ballerina pink). Very happy with the pigment load and variety of colors. For me there are a few more pale colors than Id like, and would have liked to see raw umber, indian red, raw sienna but again still satisfied with the colors I found. You can see from the photos which are opaque and which colors life out easily(white line above the black).

> 3 dayThese paints are just the most beautiful colors! I have done a sample color sheet and Im impressed with every single color. Creamy and vibrant and very easy contact with the paper. Very pleased.

> 3 dayComing from a beginner with guache this paint is pretty decent. Pros: - color selection - rich, vibrant colors -pearl colors are really beautiful - paint layed down pretty smooth and dried to a matte finish. -a little goes a long way - gives you two white colors which is great for mixing. Cons - some of the colors are a bit transparent , even the ones that are marked opaque. This is most prominent when laying a lighter color over a darker color (ex. Black). This can be remedied by adding less water or a second layer. - pearl colors are beautiful but did not lay well over darker colors. - not many skin shades in this kit so be ready to mix colors.

> 3 dayI have swatched the colors and am pleasently surprised! I have tried m graham too, the mixing set and think that this arteza set is better. Crazy right. The m graham is smooth and pigmented but 60 tubes vs 5 for the same price? The quality is good enough for sure the quality isnt like cheap dollar store paint just a little inferior to mg... But not much

11-06-2025Ive only just started my first painting with these, but they seem to have good dense pigments and beautiful colors. I like having the metallics for some extra oompf. I think these are a great deal for the price.

> 3 dayGood for water color and things like that but not great if you like to put a coating over the top. I sometimes like to use a glossy/glittery mod podge over my paintings and these colors smeared like crazy when I tried it.

> 3 dayLOVE using artezas gouache paints! I’ve been using them since arteza released their gouache line and let me tell ya, its the perfect gouache from beginner to pro! The texture of the paint is the best. I switched from latex paints to arteza. Which says a lot if you’ve used latex!! This is also the best price you’ll find for such great quality! 10/10 recommend

> 3 dayLove the consistency of the paints! My only complaint is that the actual colours don’t match the outside of the tube

> 3 dayI had tried cheap-o gouache before - you know the ones I mean - and was always frustrated. This Arteza set was a game changer for me. It works so much better. I love the matte finish, and will be using this instead of acrylic paint in my journal from now on.
