> 3 dayThis set of gouache is of the absolute worst quality. 28, ncluding the 12 Metallic colors, out of the 60 colors contain Titanium White. They are some of the worst, lowest quality paints I have ever come across. I would absolutely NOT give these to anyone, especially a beginner. Anyone trying to paint with this junk would face nothing but frustration, disappointment, and horrible chalky results. Please, do yourself a favor and do not buy this set iof gouache. Spend your $50 on a quality, recognized brand (Winsor Newton, Holbein, etc.) of quality gouache. Yes, you may only afford 6-12 colors, but the results will be well worth it.

> 3 dayGreat range of colors but I would have preferred larger tubes and a fewer colors - I can mix to get various shades but the basic white, black, brown etc are important for large paintings. The quality of the paint isnt the issue, but the tubes are more like sample sizes.

> 3 dayThe gouache is easy to work with. Its highly pigmented. But the metallic colors, have little shine to it. It shows well wet. But when the paint dries, the metallic effect dissappear. Some of the colors are neon. So swatching them, before you start, would be smart. Its a good set for beginners that wants a lot of pre mixed colors.

> 3 dayI am so beyond satisfied with this set! I’m pretty new to painting in gouache, but these paints were so easy to just pick up and use, and the colors are so rich, vibrant, and mixable!

> 3 dayNice set of gouache. A mix of names artist colors as well as unique named colors(ex: ballerina pink). Very happy with the pigment load and variety of colors. For me there are a few more pale colors than Id like, and would have liked to see raw umber, indian red, raw sienna but again still satisfied with the colors I found. You can see from the photos which are opaque and which colors life out easily(white line above the black).

> 3 daythese paints are amazing. i love them so much. although this is my first time buying/using gouache paint they seem like very high quality paints. they swatch nicely. some of them are meant to be more or less opaque than others and it tells you which ones are and arent as opaque and the level of opacity. at first i was concerned with how small the tubes were but then i figured out that a little goes a long way so that explains why the tubes arent huge. i would 100% reccommend any artist buy these paints. also 60 paints for $44 is a STEAL in my book :)

> 3 dayThese are not acrylic paints! Theyre water based, but the whole set FLAT paint! I should have looked up the word GOUACHE. So I am at fault. Dont get me wrong the paint texture and color is very good, but there is no shine to them whatsoever.

> 3 dayI paint professionally and have worked with most high end and budget brands. When I ordered the Arteza Gouache I did not expect much, but could not resist the good price. I am amazed by the strength of the colors which are highly pigmented. They are very opaque right out of the tube, but diluted with water they become translucent. The metallics are just luscious. I work mostly on wood and really wish I had tried these earlier. Oh, the possibilities....

> 3 dayGood starter set. I used mine for my model train hobby. Thick but not too thick I add a few drops of water to get more mileage out of them.
