Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Shaving Razor Blades 100 Pcs Barber Favored by Astra

Theyre razor blades, and there are 100 of them. While I have yet to count them all to make sure they didnt pull a fast one, I think the box weighs what 100 razors would weigh. They are Astra branded. They cut hair. I think this is a good purchase if you need 100 Astra razor blades.

I like how cheap these blades are while they are also sharp and leave my face super smooth! I already purchased 2 boxes and will keep going for these blades!

I heard good things about Astra, but after using the blades for several months Im giving up on them and finding a new brand. Even with a brand new razor, its not sharp enough and pulls at the hairs. Ive read elsewhere that the quality has decreased significantly in the last few years, and it seems to be true. They work in the end, but expect 3-4 passes or more with the razor to get the job done even if you have just a minor amount of stubble. Id expect a new blade to get the job done in 2 passes.

Use it in a Muhle grande. Medium aggressive. My everyday user.

I used feather blades for years but recently switched to a Rex Ambassador adjustable DE. Found the Feathers to be too aggressive with that set up. Astras have been a great match offering the best shave I have achieved so far.

By far one the best blades to use. I was so use to using Dorco blades that when I shaved with these, I thought I might have been holding the handle at the wrong angle. Come to find out it was cutting and wasnt have that drag/scrap/resistance feeling like I was use to. Not an extreme feeling, just something I notice. With these blades, it was smooth and got the job done. I did test out using the King C Gillette handle, Mercur MK34C, Chisel shave handle, and MIcrotouch handle. No issue so far, but the MIcrotouch(As seen on TV) would probably only use if I wanted a quick shave, but light cut. Cream I used was Creamo redtop cream. Very impressed with these blades and having a 100 of them. Should last me many many many years. Also depends on how often one shaves too. Might be different for the rest of you. For the record, this comes with 20 boxes. 5 counts per, so 100 blades, not a 100 boxes.

Been using a safety razor on my head and face for about thirty years and have tried multiple razors from several sample packs, but generally, Im getting these Astra or the stainless steel version. I felt that these platinum coated were a little smoother and worked well with my particular skin. Im one of those people that has been looking for a combo that would leave me with zero stubble on my head and found that the combo of this particular Astra razor and the Cremo concentrated creams is outstanding. I do still pick up sample packs on occasion to verify my choice and always keep coming back to Astra Platinum.
