> 24 hourThe monitor worked great for just under one year. Unfortunately, horizontal lines started appearing across the screen even when it wasnt hooked up to a computer. ASUS support is absolutely useless. DO NOT BUY A MONITOR FROM ASUS!!! It is so frustrating to have a product under warranty and then get the runaround by a company like ASUS. Online support and telephone support took hours and hours of time simply to get a ticket number to repair.

> 24 hourWhen you spend $250 on a Gaming monitor, you would expect an Audio OUTPUT device! Nothing! Just awfull speaker and 0 headphone jack or any other output! DO NOT BUY! Yeah the graphics are somewhat decent, but when you turn games up to the full max and still cant hear through the cheesy speakers...You have lost money!!! Not worth the buy

> 24 hourI’m an Asus guy. Not that, that’s all I use but, I tend to drift toward their products. This monitor, another fantastic product by them. It’s a 1080 monitor and it’s perfect for what I use it for. It’s a solid build and heavier that I expected. I’d say, it’s worth every penny. It helps that it does come with a display port but, having to manually switch between HDMI and Display Port does get a little annoying.

> 24 hourGot a dead pixel straight out of the box right in the center of the screen. Its a disaster because other than that its quite nice.

> 24 hourI actually own 3 of these...two that work, one that is broken that I sent back for warranty service. The monitor was mounted on my stand when I purchased it and had not been moved from there until I turned it on and the display was scrambled. I sent it to ASUS (RMA USDAN50820) and, in about 4 days got an email from them saying it had been received. A few days after that I received an email stating that they had discovered scratches on the bezel indicating user damage. The repair estimate totaled $300. I ordered another one (for $269) and asked that the original be returned to me. It is in transit and I will update this with photos when it arrives. They did send photos of the damage which are in a pdf format and I cant upload them here. The photos are extremely blurry and show nothing helpful. I am not a gamer, in fact I am a Nurse and do most of my charting from home. I work only on call and need a comfortable to look at monitor to use on my dual display. I often have to have multiple programs open at one time and use the dual display to make this more efficient. I will not purchase anything more from this company until they make good on their promise. Would I recommend these to anyone else? Not anyone I liked. This is not the end...just the end for now. I will have no problems steering anyone away from Asus.

> 24 hourVery good for FPS games or Minecraft, I thought I scratched it once, but it healed itself in a few hours. Very high quality and crystal clear gameplay.

> 24 hourMonitor has good, highly adjustable stand. Had 1 dead pixel in corner. Only problem is monitor settings are stuck through seven gamevisual presets with limited customizability. If u can turn that off somehow, then its great.

> 24 hourIt works well but I regret not getting a 2k monitor. I only have a 4gb 3050, but it turns out it can actually play games in 2k with it, older ones anyway. As far as the monitor goes it is OK, good not great. The settings are a joke, at least to me. I only use it on RTS/RPG mode for games, but I use scenery or cinema for movie/tv stuff. The stand is excellent, very high quality. The plugs are hard to get to, but I dont unplug it very often so thats ok. I say it is a good monitor, not that I have much to compare it to other than my laptop display. It is better than that for sure, way bigger and easier to see. It has strong viewing angles, can see the picture from very sharp angles. I like it but I would rather have the 2k version, I just didnt think that GPU could do anything in 2k.
