> 3 dayI absolutely love this monitor. I chose this for a low-end gaming build just to fall in love with it and now I would like to purchase 2 more just for my mounted 3 screen gaming setup!

> 3 dayNo signal from displayport. Everything plugged in and triple checked. Its apparently a known issue. Fails at the 1 job a monitor has.

> 3 dayThis is a great gaming monitor! It truly is 144hz, has great IPS paneling, and lots of different modes to choose from. I actually liked the shadow boost setting, especially for games like Metro Exodus. It also has probably the best mount I’ve ever seen on a monitor. It’s so sturdy and has many adjustment options. I had no dead or stuck pixels first try. If you’re not looking to spend too much but still want a great monitor, this is the one for you.

16-11-2024Ill come back after a couple of months of use but so far, this is a very good monitor! These are my initial impressions. Lets start with the main reason I bought this: IPS monitor at 144hz combined with ASUS ELMB (extreme low motion blur) has been a fantastic experience. The technology to be able to combine a high refresh rate and a low motion blur is fairly knew so I imagine there are people out there that do not know it exists. For those people, let me say, that it is very nice to play with. I know there are monitors out there that are better and do the same, but I am talking based off of this being valued at a lower price which to me, is extremely awesome to have such a lowly cost monitor that provides such premium features. The ASCR mode (dynamic contrast) paired with ELMB made my gaming experience coming from a TN panel much better. The colors are more vibrant, I get nearly the same response time as my TN panel does, and I have not noticed any input lag while playing so far. No dead pixels out of the box and no flickering although I will say, if you are experiencing flickering on your above 60hz refresh rate monitor, I would recommend investing in a more expensive display port cable because sometimes companies will not tell you that the display port cable wont support anything above 60hz and as a result you may think your monitor is going bad due to the flickering! **THIS MONITOR COMES WITH A DISPLAY PORT THAT SUPPORTS 144hz!**

> 3 dayI Purchased 2 of these monitors for working from home. Im not a gamer, so a lot of the gamer elements are lost on me, however, the screens are very clean in their design, smooth movement from the included stands, vertical adjustment and swivel for using them in portrait video mode. The video quality is excellent using the included Display port cables. Even though Im running these on an old Dell laptop with a docking station they are pretty nice. I paid 169.99 each at a brick and mortar store near me. I find that they are just the right size for my current setup and make working on grading papers and videos quite a lot more pleasant experience. I was using a pair of old, mismatched monitors and the difference between these and those old ones is night and day. These monitors came very well packaged in a nice thick box with lots of Styrofoam around the entirety of the screen. The required assembly was 1 thumbscrew to attach the base to the monitor stand. Ive been using them for about a week with no issues so far. I did take the time to check them for dead/stuck pixels and so far have found NONE. This was a particular issue since the last monitor I was using had one green stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen that was driving me crazy. Overall Id recommend this.

Greater than one weekBought the monitor a few months ago, works great, is absolutely amazing but the only issue for me is that it is much to big for my desk which is not a very long length. Thus, I am desperately trying to get rid of it for a fair price since it is too late to return. Selling it for 200 or best offer. message my reddit u/usa-chann

Greater than one weekAwesome picture. The difference between VA and TN is crazy. I love every inch of this monitor. I can’t believe the price is so low. No bad pixels nothing wrong at all. Except the audio input doesn’t output audio which kinda sucks. Other then that it’s amazing.

> 3 dayI have been looking for an ips monitor to replace my current Asus vg248qe for a couple of months now. The problem with the current market of gaming monitors is that most of the ips gaming monitors come in 27. Since I sit close to my monitor, this would be too large and uncomfortable for my eyes. I almost gave up and was going to settle with a 75hz ips monitor until I spotted the Asus TUF 23.8 VG249Q gaming monitor. This monitor is the real deal!! I previously gamed on a TN pannel and the transaction to IPS is glorious. Colors are very punchy compared to TN pannels. The only thing I changed in the monitor settings was color temperature. I changed it from warm to normal since it looks more realistic. Other than that, I have not touched any of the other monitor settings. Its that great! Not to mention, gaming at 144hz is an experience unlike any other and I am glad I didnt have to give that up in order to get an IPS pannel. Additionally, the almost nonexisting bezels makes the monitor look very sleek and save desk space. If you need an affordable 24 IPS gaming monitor with 144hz, l would highly recommend this product. Even though I only had this monitor for a short time, my expectations have been exceeded!! Buy this ASAP!
