DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. I used this for a little over a year and the monitor caught fire while I was using it. It could have caught my whole house on fire if I hadn’t acted to quickly. Sent this complaint to the company’s customer support without any help at all. They wouldn’t replace the monitor with a new one, only wanted to replace it with another refurbished one or try to fix the fire hazard and send it back to me. Terrible product and even worse customer service

I received this product with a dead pixel in the bottom left of the screen. It was out of the way and doesn’t bother me so I didn’t make a big deal of it but it is a bit annoying paying this price for a product just to have a small defect right away out of the box. If it would have been in the middle of my screen this may have been much different as I’m pretty sure the warranty for this you must have 3 or more dead pixels for a return. Although, I am not positive on this. I just didn’t want to look into it. I love the quality and the features it has. You definitely won’t be disappointed with this monitor. The tilt and spin capabilities is awesome. You can adjust the height of the screen to your liking. The blue light filter is something I originally didn’t care about but now I find myself using it from time to time. The only other complaint I have is the set up of gsync/freesync. It is somewhat difficult to figure out and once I got it I was getting occasional flashes of a black screen. The only thing I wish this monitor had was easier compatibility with gsync and obviously no dead pixels. I understand dead pixels can happen on any monitor but seeing a black spec on your brand new screen is slightly disappointing.. that’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, I have no complaints and this is a great product!

I wanted a 144 Hz monitor because the main game I play is Call of Duty and 120 fps makes a big difference. Throughout the process of me looking into monitors, it was really annoying trying to find out if they actually could run 120 fps on the PS5. Obviously this varies game to game, but certain monitors just literally aren’t compatible for whatever reason. Can confirm that when you put the PS5 in performance mode, it will automatically enable 120 fps on games that support it. As far as the monitor itself, the IPS panel looks great for the most part and the actual build of it doesn’t feel cheap. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a good 1080p 144 Hz monitor.

I bought this as my only option for a 144hz monitor with a non-TN PANEL. I am blown away by the quality. I only wish it had the updated control buttons as the GUI is kind of terrible

Monitor would not power up, even using a second power cord, and its been 12 days since I returned it and still have not received a refund, even though it was supposed to process by today. Also have not received any emails or calls regarding my refund or the return.

VG249Q advertised as a 144hz, 1ms, IPS, Freesync display, but does any of that hold up, and is it all worth it? Lets start with the positives: +great picture quality quality, especially sRGB mode. +both the displays I used had agreeable blb. +Response time settings dont impact picture quality. +great stand! quite easy to put together. +Freesync and 144hz work flawlessly. Now, lets get to the negatives: -Bad tinny speakers, do not expect to be using this monitor without separate speakers. -confusing osd with limited options -you cant configure color profiles, monitor comes with preconfigured profiles, and if you dont like them, youre out of luck. -horrible quality control, the first monitor I ordered had dead, and stuck pixels, on top of washed out colors, although the blb wasnt too bad. thankfully, this is Amazon, so I sent it back for a replacement. the replacement monitor itself had good color recreation (what was advertised in the first place), minimal blb, much better than the first, but that was it, the replacement too had stuck pixels which wouldnt go away no matter what I tried. But seeing as theres a certain pandemic going on atm, and increased shipping times, I bit the bullet, and kept it as I didnt want to bother, or waste any more of my time. -build quality could be better. -worse overshoot than the 24g2 on max response times. Firstly, definitely not anywhere near the advertised response time (no surprise there), but it is still the slowest monitor, response time wise around this price range with my testing pegging it a good 2-3ms slower on avg. at 9.83ms than the 24g2 at 7.53ms, and this is on 100 trace free, its fastest setting, and combined with worse overshoot than the 24g2 at these settings as well, its not really enticing if youre a competitive gamer, though keep in mind that this display definitely has better picture quality at those settings than the 24g2. -overpriced. Overall, this monitor IS NOT WORTH the price premium, considering it costs around $80-100 on a good day compared to its competition. It is a ~$150 monitor masquerading around as a $249 monitor. If youre in the market for such a monitor, Id recommend looking into cheaper, and imo better alternatives such the AOC 24G2, MSI G241, the Acer Nitros around this price range, or the VP249QGR (which is this exact same display, with a worse stand for consideriably cheaper) before Id recommend buying the VG249Q. Sorry, ASUS, but this monitor truly is not worth its asking price especially when your competition is offering much better products at much cheaper prices.

Llevo ya unos meses de uso con el monitor, no me ha dado ningún tipo de falla y la verdad es que me parece una de las mejores compras que pude hacer en lo que respecta a este mercado, el de los monitores ips con alta taza de refresco.
