> 3 dayThe monitor worked great for just under one year. Unfortunately, horizontal lines started appearing across the screen even when it wasnt hooked up to a computer. ASUS support is absolutely useless. DO NOT BUY A MONITOR FROM ASUS!!! It is so frustrating to have a product under warranty and then get the runaround by a company like ASUS. Online support and telephone support took hours and hours of time simply to get a ticket number to repair.

> 3 dayWeve bought these three times and my kids love them! They are one of the better monitors for the price. We tried others, but returned them and got another of this exact monitor. If youre gaming on a budget, this is your monitor.

> 3 dayLlevo ya unos meses de uso con el monitor, no me ha dado ningún tipo de falla y la verdad es que me parece una de las mejores compras que pude hacer en lo que respecta a este mercado, el de los monitores ips con alta taza de refresco.

> 3 dayFOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO READ: -Fantastic color range (in racing mode) -Fantastic viewing angles -Sleek design -Overall great monitor Now to the nitty-gritty: This monitor is super stylish. Despite it only being a 24” panel, it looks massive due to the lack of bezels. With that being said though, I am coming from an ASUS VG248QE monitor, which the bezels are very big on that. It has a fantastic range of color, I found that putting it in “racing” mode is the most color accurate. Only other setting I changed was bumping the blue from 100 to 99. Fantastic viewing angles, and blacks definitely look as black as they can get without using an OLED panel. My only complaint was a tiny scratch/indent on the bottom bezel. With that being said though, the scratch kinda looks like an M so my pea brain thinks it’s kinda cool. Either way, I can’t see it past my microphone so I guess it doesn’t matter.

> 3 dayAfter 1.5 years, the monitor is already breaking down. Have huge expectations, but if your products cant last more than 2 years especially with this price rage is a pretty big red flag. I have bought a lot of monitors and all of them are still alive to this day. Another big disappointment. What else is new. Just go next. Dont bother spending your hard earn cash here.

Greater than one weekThis is my first and last monitor Ill purchase from ASUS. Sadly, as you can see from the above pictures I have a single pixel defect on each. The first has a stuck red pixel. Programs that supposedly unstuck a stuck pixel did not work after a couple of hours and Im sure not going to press physically against it like some websites suggest. If it remained stuck it might as well be dead. So I refunded and tried again ... and ... I get monitor with a dead pixel! See the other picture. Sadly Ill take my $250 lost and call it a day and just leave this review here for anyone that stumbles upon it and hopefully I can save you a headache or two. The monitor is great when I can force myself to forget theres a dead pixel but quality control leaves much to be desired. PS: I understand the concept of pixel lottery and I dont care, Id keep refunding until Id get a perfect one but Im too afraid to get flagged by Amazon for refunding for a single pixel defect twice in a row. Doesnt the fact I have to gamble for a perfect monitor sound stupid to you because thats what I did here and lost.

> 3 dayDO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. I used this for a little over a year and the monitor caught fire while I was using it. It could have caught my whole house on fire if I hadn’t acted to quickly. Sent this complaint to the company’s customer support without any help at all. They wouldn’t replace the monitor with a new one, only wanted to replace it with another refurbished one or try to fix the fire hazard and send it back to me. Terrible product and even worse customer service

> 3 dayPROS: -- No dead pixels on mine (this is the one thing I am wary about when it comes to ordering a monitor online) -- Perfect size for 1080p (high pixel density at this size) -- Brightness and contrast look great -- Lots of different settings in the menu -- Build quality seems solid CONS: -- Speakers sound ok, but not amazing; I personally use headphones so it doesnt matter to me -- Power button should ideally be right below the LED indicator, not half an inch to the left of it -- It looks like the border is only about 1/16 inch thick, but the usable part of the LED panel actually ends about 1/8 inch from the plastic frame, so if you are planning on running 2 of these side by side, be aware of that. You will have about 1/4 inch black border (including the frame part) on each side of the monitor. A minor point, but one that should be mentioned. As you can see, there really isnt much to complain about with this monitor. I set mine for 120 Hz (My current GPU cant run games at 144 frames per second anyway). Setup was easy. For a couple games I had to delete content of the games Settings folder in order to get the game to work with this monitor (namely Doom 2016 and RDR2) because those games stored settings from my previous monitor. Its hard to find a 1080P IPS that is this fast and has all these features in a small size. Most IPS 1080P monitors are 27 now, which is too large in my opinion. This is the perfect size for 1080P.
