I feel quite sure that this was an attempt to scam. I purchased based on description and received a cheaper, lesser brand with the wrong operating system. Whats funny is the shipping label from the previous person was still on the box.

I love the keyboard soft and silent back lit for those times when it is just enough light to keep getting it done.

This is my second asus laptop bought on amazon; the first one has 7 years and its working just fine! This one, in a little bit more than a month and the webcam stops working correctly. Amazon’s Customer service wasnt helpful and refer me to conctact Asus directly. I am so disapointed because I always prefer Amazon over ebay because I think its safer but this wasnt the case.

Was great but the screen was okay.

This laptop didn’t even last 3 years. I know it’s inexpensive to begin with, but I expected this laptop to last longer. I called tech support and they had me uninstall the driver, then reset and install back to the factory settings but that didn’t work. Since it’s out of warranty, I’d have to send in to the manufacturer and get it serviced. This would cost more than the original cost of the laptop! So I’m going to buy a new laptop, not ASUS brand and hope for better luck.

The sound of the laptop is awful.

Touchscreen not important to me, but the BIOS security is so irritating that I havent yet installed Linux. It IS possible, but its a PITA if you havent done it before. However, if youre looking for a laptop thats both capable and inexpensive in a Windows 10 environment, this is a good choice

This thing is amazing for basically everything outside of gaming. The only problem I had was a few keyboard keys got wore out earlier than youd expect but when you are writing all day for weeks on end during bipolar manic episodes after taking yourself off your depakote, I dont think Asus deserves the blame. User error.
