As my title says - the battery power needs a ton of improvement. My 6 year old $200 ASUS netbook had a longer battery life, but it broke it half so I needed to buy something quickly. My netbook had flung off of the roof of my car on the highway two years ago and SURVIVED without any operational damage, so I wanted to stick with the brand. I really wish the S mode wasnt a thing.

This one sucks! There is no way to install Linux on it. Disabled Secure Boot, disabled fast boot, and even manually change the boot option in BIOS. Still wont boot from Linux Mint 20 USB stick. My other laptops, including even several ASUS from a couple of years ago, had no problem in booting into LInux from the same stick. So disappointed that ASUS even design such things that only work with Windows. Time to return and move on to something else ...

I feel quite sure that this was an attempt to scam. I purchased based on description and received a cheaper, lesser brand with the wrong operating system. Whats funny is the shipping label from the previous person was still on the box.

Remember that the Windows version is in window S mode.

My old laptop was on its last legs and finally gave up on me during summer school. Based on recommendations from friends and family, this was the best product for the price point. Very happy with it so far, here’s to the it lasting through med school and potentially residency!
