> 24 hourAbsolute junk! I would steer clear of ALL Asus for the horrible service alone. The laptop has ultimately cost double the price because its had to be sent in for repair twice. The screen basically fell apart, it needs to stay plugged in because the battery is so bad despite asking for a new one when we sent it in to be serviced the first time. The charger cable had to be replaced. The harddrive failed after one year. This is a computer that has barely been used. The worst part is dealing with the customer service. The tech support was brutal and every time you are forced to call, after sitting on hold forever, you have to explain everything to them again. This is the third Asus my family has bought in the last couple of years because they used to be really solid, but they defiantly aren’t anymore.

> 24 hourI hate to do this but I want others to be aware. I spent a lot of money for this laptop. It was refurbished and I thought Amazon deleted and cleaned the computer. The prior owner files, family photos, and personal documents started appearing. I was so upset because I thought the previous owner access my personal files. I called Amazon and assurion warranty. Neither was helpful. They said to call Amazon. The warranty people said call Amazon. I had to get a tech to delete the prior owner files. Please be careful when buying refurbished items because your personal life photos, work, and documents may be at risk.

> 24 hourI needed a new laptop because Microsoft discontinued support for window 7. My Dell was a dinosaur. I got it used and had it almost 6 years. this one starts up instantly. wow. people complain these inexpensive laptops are slow. compared to the old one...heck, no! I have no complaints but then again, my needs are few and simple. also, I did research and this laptop made the top ten for the price. no regrets.

> 24 hourIt was delivered quickly and has been working well. It is lightweight and easy to use. I miss some of the features of my old laptop but this works fine for the price. No defects were observable. Its a pity it has no avg port and I will now have to buy an HDMI cable to use with multimedia projector. The battery life is not that long. It has to be charged within 4-6 hours of being in use. The inbuilt mouse works but causes a little strain on my finger. I need to get used to it. It does not come with a touch screen. When using the camera it does look a little hazy but the same video viewed on my phone seems brighter. I am not a techy, so as long as it works, I am ok.

> 24 hourWe purchased this a month ago and the screen is now blackened with the faintest visibility of the login icon. It will not adjust lighting. Yes, power is on.
