> 3 dayI bought this in Oct then 4 months later the battery does not charge into full. It only says 79% all the time and I have to be plugged after 3-4 hours of continuous use. Not touch screen.

> 3 dayThis computer is a piece of crap. The speakers are junk. You cant hear anything. The battery is not a real computer battery. The charge is so weak that you have to plug it back in within an hour. DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM POS!!

31-03-2025I got this laptop for my sister to use for school work. For that use case, its perfectly fine. Itll run Firefox and MS Office without any issues, and the SSD keeps things feeling fast. The screen isnt the best if youre planning to use this as a media machine for photos/video/games. The dual-core i3 starts to struggle a bit on more intensive tasks like heavy photo/video/audio production, but this laptop isnt meant for that kind of work. For basic home office and student work, this thing is perfectly fine for the price. Its well-built, the screen is large enough to do work comfortably for long periods, the backlit keyboard and trackpad are good, and the overall design makes it look more expensive than it actually costs. There are plenty of USB ports, a microSD slot, and an HDMI port. The only thing I wouldve liked is a slightly better screen and an extra RAM slot for dual-channel memory.

> 3 dayAbsolute junk! I would steer clear of ALL Asus for the horrible service alone. The laptop has ultimately cost double the price because its had to be sent in for repair twice. The screen basically fell apart, it needs to stay plugged in because the battery is so bad despite asking for a new one when we sent it in to be serviced the first time. The charger cable had to be replaced. The harddrive failed after one year. This is a computer that has barely been used. The worst part is dealing with the customer service. The tech support was brutal and every time you are forced to call, after sitting on hold forever, you have to explain everything to them again. This is the third Asus my family has bought in the last couple of years because they used to be really solid, but they defiantly aren’t anymore.
