This great looking laptop is a value choice while still getting low weight and descent performance (SSD and I3 processor). The back-lit keyboard and nice screen (1920 x 1080) were appreciated touches for the primary user; my son. I like the ASUS brand generally.

Its a good laptop, but it doesnt store much. I had to expand the storage for it to hold more than a handful of games.

This is the first laptop I ever owned and after two years of using it, I have to say that its ok. There is nothing really to write home about in terms of upsides. The display quality is good (though looking at it from an angle is not a fun experience), and the sound quality is as good. Though its not very powerful, which is to be expected for a laptop of this price, as a result, some games are an absolute chore to play. What doesnt help is the fact that there are very few things to upgrade about it, like RAM or the SSD. Its perfect if you only intend on using it for work or light gaming; but for anything else, just save for a decent desktop. Some things that I personally dislike about it are the location of the charger port and headphone jack; both of which are located on the right side of the laptop which can cause issues if your outlet or headphones have a cord on the left side. (Also, if you buy this, make sure to buy an external hard drive as well. 128 Gigs of storage will be eaten up VERY quickly.)

I love the touch screen. Audio is weak.

This laptop is great for doing my school on except for the speakers. The speakers have a terrible design and basically useless unfortunately. I have a lot of lectures to watch online for my school so I have to use headphones because of the terrible speaker quality.

For $400 this laptop is not worth it. I can’t go 5 minutes without it crashing and I need this for school and work. I can never get anything done with it and I’ve barely had it a couple months. If there was a way I could fix the crashing issue without spending any for money this would be a 5 star laptop for me but it isn’t. I thought if I were to wait it out it would get better but it hasn’t and now I’m stuck with this piece of junk and out $400. And for a college student that is a lot of money to be throwing away.

Whether at work or play, ASUS VivoBook 15 is the compact laptop that immerses you in whatever you set out to do. Its new frameless four-sided NanoEdge display boasts an ultraslim 5.7mm bezel, giving an amazing 88% screen-to-body ratio for supremely immersive visuals. The ErgoLift hinge design also tilts the keyboard up for more comfortable typing. VivoBook 15 is powered by an Intel core i3 processor to help you get things done with the least amount of fuss. The actual transfer speed of USB 3.0, 3.1 (Gen 1 and 2), and/or Type-C will vary depending on many factors including the processing speed of the host device, file attributes and other factors related to system configuration and your operating environment.
