> 3 day***UPDATE: Just wanted to come back and say it’s now been about 2 months and I’m still lovin it! Still going strong! No wear and tear, no shoddy construction, no regrets! Also I’m a hardcore daily user so I’m definitely putting it through its paces. HappyHappyHappy I did about 40 minutes of research before finally deciding on this battery strap. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks now and I can say I am VERY happy with the purchase! In my research, the Meta strap seems to break on a lot of people. I didn’t want to spend $100 on something just for it to break and have to deal with the horrendous oculus customer service. This one is obviously a knockoff version of that but waaay less cost. The specs are also a little better. Battery life is advertised as boosted to 6 hours. I haven’t set a timer, but I can definitively say if it’s not 6 hours it’s close enough to where it’s not noticeable. A few nights ago we had people over, had a few adult beverages and played. I estimated we started about 5 pm and the headset died about 1030pm. Not to mention we were having a good ol time so we probably weren’t the most careful or gentle when passing the headset back and forth, removing and putting on etc etc and the strap stood up better than expected. Went to a family gathering last night and one of the kids brought his oculus with the elite strap so I checked it out compared to mine. I’ll tell you this.. if the meta elite and the aubika were side by side I’d pick the aubika just on the eye test alone. Seems a lot sturdier. Easy installation, sturdy hard plastic material and a dial in back to loosen/tighten. Very comfortable on the back of the head with the sturdy rubber “head cup” I guess you could call it haha, huuuuge upgrade from the stock strap. Long story short, this is proof there’s other options out there besides the Meta elite, Bobo and kiwi. I feel like I found a hidden gem with the Aubika. 40% cheaper than the Meta with longer battery life and made from sturdier material. Don’t call it a knock off because it’s actually better than what they’re imitating if you ask me. You will not regret this purchase and you can talk smack to the people who spend more money on lower quality hahaha A+ product for this guy.

Greater than one weekGreat product, an elite type of strap is a requirement if youre going to do any serious VR with the Quest 2. Fast forward a few months and the rear adjustment knob came loose and fell off. I can still use it if I manually hold it in place and turn to adjust the tightness but it does not stay attached on its own anymore. I reached out to support through their website form and by emailing them separately twice with no response so far. I will update this review if I hear back from the company. *UPDATE* Zero response from the manufacturer. Based on the other reviews the rear knob design has a design flaw and will eventually fail. Only lasted a few months and for what you pay its not worth it. *UPDATE 2* Support finally responded to me and said they could not find my order number. I provided them a screenshot of my Amazon order a few weeks ago and there has been no follow up from them since. I am reaching out again.

> 3 daySo my son has had this headset for his oculus for just over 4 months (conveniently a month after Amazon’s product guarantee ended). The circle on the back that adjusts the size of the headset has come off, and the headset can no longer be adjusted. He can pull the straps to get it onto his head, but it doesn’t stay tight on his head anymore. I’m currently waiting to hear back from the seller to see if anything can be done about this. I’m really hoping that they can help out and not say “sorry, oh well”. Update - the seller got back to me, and I’m waiting on a new headset to be delivered. I hope this one lasts longer!

> 3 dayIve mostly had a great experience since upgrading from an Elite headstrap to this one with a built-in battery. It extends runtime enough that I run out of time/desire to play VR instead of battery life. Awesome! However, on several occasions when I tried to get in a VR workout mid-day, Ive found the headset discharged even though it was plugged in. This completely ruined the opportunity to get my workout during lunch several times. The solution that has worked for me has been to reboot the battery pack and try charging again (which is what its doing while I write this review). My theory is that the battery pack gets into a failed/bad state and doesnt continue charging the headset while plugged in. Reboot resets the state. This need to occasionally reboot isnt acceptable to me and makes it hard to recommend this product, even though I like it when it works correctly. UPDATE: The reliability of this battery has been a constant annoyance. If I could return it, I would. It doesn’t pass power through if it’s not on and it crashes or glitches every few days—this means your headset doesn’t charge and will be dead when you had it plugged in. Super frustrating.

> 3 dayA great strap with the battery. I can play extra hours, and the fit is awesome.

> 3 dayI like how comfortable this strap is and the battery life is pretty good. Only thing I dont like is that the ratchet mechanism is kinda wonky

> 3 dayComfortable easy adjustable fit. So easy to adjust for little kids and back to adults. Love the carrying case. Only issue I found is the case is tight on the Quest 2 on/off button and tends to turn on in transport. This sucks when you bought it for longer play and pull it out to find its low on battery. Otherwise I love the Aubika!

> 3 dayI bought this because the battery on the oculus quest 2 isn’t long enough for the time I’d like to play. The strap extends the battery by at least 3 hours which is a perfect amount of playtime. The strap is comfortable while playing for hours and the battery balances the weight of the headset. My one complaint is that the strap is difficult to take off with one hand because the weight of headset makes the gear stop loosening. Overall it’s a very good strap and I would definitely buy again.

> 3 dayTested both this and elite strap side by side. Its the same exact thing as the elite strap except that the battery is not shown when plugged into the headset, it just shows that the headset is being charged, it also appears to charge a tiny bit slower. Battery size supposed to be 5000, elite strap is around 4700. Its much easier to remove this from the headset compared with the elite strap due to the design.
