Aubika Elite Strap with Battery and Carrying Case for Oculus Quest 2, Enhanced Comfort and Playtime - Gray

I love this strap and bonus it has a battery. This has been so cool I am able to ditch the cord and use this to keep my Oculus charged for hours! I love it, sturdy and super simple to install! So glad I made this purchase. I am completely satisfied with this head strap.

***UPDATE: Just wanted to come back and say it’s now been about 2 months and I’m still lovin it! Still going strong! No wear and tear, no shoddy construction, no regrets! Also I’m a hardcore daily user so I’m definitely putting it through its paces. HappyHappyHappy I did about 40 minutes of research before finally deciding on this battery strap. I’ve been using it everyday for about 2 weeks now and I can say I am VERY happy with the purchase! In my research, the Meta strap seems to break on a lot of people. I didn’t want to spend $100 on something just for it to break and have to deal with the horrendous oculus customer service. This one is obviously a knockoff version of that but waaay less cost. The specs are also a little better. Battery life is advertised as boosted to 6 hours. I haven’t set a timer, but I can definitively say if it’s not 6 hours it’s close enough to where it’s not noticeable. A few nights ago we had people over, had a few adult beverages and played. I estimated we started about 5 pm and the headset died about 1030pm. Not to mention we were having a good ol time so we probably weren’t the most careful or gentle when passing the headset back and forth, removing and putting on etc etc and the strap stood up better than expected. Went to a family gathering last night and one of the kids brought his oculus with the elite strap so I checked it out compared to mine. I’ll tell you this.. if the meta elite and the aubika were side by side I’d pick the aubika just on the eye test alone. Seems a lot sturdier. Easy installation, sturdy hard plastic material and a dial in back to loosen/tighten. Very comfortable on the back of the head with the sturdy rubber “head cup” I guess you could call it haha, huuuuge upgrade from the stock strap. Long story short, this is proof there’s other options out there besides the Meta elite, Bobo and kiwi. I feel like I found a hidden gem with the Aubika. 40% cheaper than the Meta with longer battery life and made from sturdier material. Don’t call it a knock off because it’s actually better than what they’re imitating if you ask me. You will not regret this purchase and you can talk smack to the people who spend more money on lower quality hahaha A+ product for this guy.

Doubled the life of my oculus and super easy to use. You do need to engage the battery to charge the main headset and to turn it off, which I love because I can ensure I always have battery to play or watch media. Highly recommend this to everyone.

I really wanted this to work. The back support detached within the first few weeks and now, only a year in, the back twist part fell off and cant be reconnected so Im unable to tighten it at all. Ill have to trash it and buy another. Guess I shoulda gone with brand name from the start. Lesson learned.

So, two things to know. This product works great. It has a wonderful way of integrating into your quest 2 system, and comes in handy when the battery is running low. Its also a beautiful design. But... theres a manufacturing defect. Youve likely seen the other posts. They have great customer service, so you can get a replacement. However, you can also fix it! The black piece with the rubber head cradle snaps off with a fair amount of force, giving access to the tiny screw that came loose. A little loctite or epoxy on those threads and you should never have this issue again. Game on!

Its heads and tails above the original Oculus Quest 2 strap, but I wish there were interchangable pads for the back of the head. This one i find a bit uncomfortable for extended periods. Overall, not a bad purchase especially is you find it on sale.

I would say the overall this Oculus strap with battery pack is an okay value. Ive had it for about 5 weeks now and its comfortable but there are some things that keep it from me giving it four stars. And I may be even a little generous for giving it three stars but for the price point its okay. So the issues Ive had so far are with the top head strap, its basically falling apart and the velcro was the first thing to fall off and then the strap itself started coming apart into two pieces. I have a fix for that so its not that big of a deal but you know after only a few weeks of use you think it wouldnt be coming apart already. You can see what Im talking about in the photos I included with this review. Theres a couple things that should be included in the instructions but for some reason arent in there such as when you turn the battery pack on you have to press the button five times. To turn it off you have to press it two times but nowhere in the instructions does it say this so you just kind of have to figure it out. The last thing is it says you can charge the Oculus and the battery pack at the same time however theres one caveat to that you cannot have your Oculus completely powered off it has to be in sleep mode otherwise it wont charge, only the battery pack will charge. Again these are some basic things you know that I think should be included in the instructions. Thats my two cents hope this helps someone make a decision on their purchase.

I was really nervous that this wouldnt be what it said it was based on price after looking at best buy. This has longer battery life and is incredibly comfortable. We have played for hours and havent had it go dead yet. It helps balance the oculus so that doesnt feel awkward or front heavy. I highly recommend this product and seller had perfect description and arrived a day early.

So my son has had this headset for his oculus for just over 4 months (conveniently a month after Amazon’s product guarantee ended). The circle on the back that adjusts the size of the headset has come off, and the headset can no longer be adjusted. He can pull the straps to get it onto his head, but it doesn’t stay tight on his head anymore. I’m currently waiting to hear back from the seller to see if anything can be done about this. I’m really hoping that they can help out and not say “sorry, oh well”. Update - the seller got back to me, and I’m waiting on a new headset to be delivered. I hope this one lasts longer!
