easy to install, have some gripes with connecting to original glasses ear stubs, but all in all it sits well, did not break, and comfortable to adjust. battery is great.

I really love this battery pack, its helped balance out the weight of the VR set from front and back. The adjustable dial also has helped me get a more comfortable fit on my head. The only quirk is that the charging cable will often need unplugging and replugging in to start charging the headset, something I have to keep an eye on otherwise my headset might be draining battery while theres still power in the battery. I dont know if this is an oculus issue or the battery issue. But its why I had to knock off a star, otherwise it works really great!

If you have the means, buy this to go with your Oculus. This battery pack on the back balances the weight of the VR on the front. Not having that pressure on the back of the neck is wonderful. Plus, the extra battery life is a huge plus. And this is much easier to put on and adjust, so if multiple people use the oculus, you dont have to adjust the top strap every time.

This is one product that absolutely worth every penny paid. I was little skeptical about this product after going through many reviews. Trusting Amazons return policy, I decided to try it out. What is good about it 1. Less than half the cost of META head strap with battery back up 2. More comfortable than the META and easier to adjust with rotating knob 3. While charging battery backup strap simultaneous charging of the headset 4. back rest of the head strap is very comfortable What is not Good about it Nothing. Please note: As many have mentioned, the head strap backrest is little tricky to properly snap on to the grove. Once you properly fix it, it wont come off easily. I returned my original META headset and bought 2 of this. I would recommend this product without any second thought.

I was hoping this would be a good replacement option for the official Oculus head strap with battery pack due to the price point; however, Ive had some difficulties with this that have made me consider returning it and just shelling out the extra cash. The back of this head strap is incredibly uncomfortable - it hurts my head so badly most of the time that Im constantly trying to make adjustments the entire time Im using the system, usually to no avail. It feels as though its squeezing so tightly and cutting into the back of my head, whether the head strap is tightened or loosened, whether the upper velcro strap is pulled taught or has slack. Ive tried everything. It makes playing miserable. In addition, the connection to the charging port seems to be poor. Ive had multiple issues with my Oculus headset not charging when the battery pack charges, and then, when my Oculus headset runs out of charge, the backup battery isnt connected well enough to swap the power over without having to unplug and plug back in the connection to the headset. This has been nothing but trouble for me and honestly makes me think I either need to spend more to get the official head strap or just forget about an extended battery pack altogether and get something thats at least comfortable enough to wear for the two hours the Oculus headset battery lasts.

The battery life of the Oculus 2 is decent but this is a must have if you have more than one gamer. We got at least 5 hours the first time we tried it with both batteries fully charged. This also helped a lot with weight distribution for my kids.

I like how comfortable this strap is and the battery life is pretty good. Only thing I dont like is that the ratchet mechanism is kinda wonky

When I tried the official Meta (at the time Oculus) head strap, it snapped like everybody elses. This head strap does solve the problem of the side arms snapping, and the added length at the ends for easy removal is an awesome touch. Unfortunately, even on day one, the rear adjustment knob felt pretty loose. It doesnt feel unsafe, as the actual strap never wobbles. Just the knob, but its not exactly reassuring. This head strap would be a lot more comfortable overall if the rear compartment were significantly heavier in order to better counter-balance the headset. The advertised claim isnt false, just insufficient in practice. The battery is pretty good, it doesnt charge the headset battery past where it is when you turn on the AUBIKA battery, but rather holds the headset battery charge in place for the duration of the AUBIKA batterys charge. This is actually the optimal charge level for an external battery and for the headset batterys health. Very nice, though I have only had this head strap for about a week, and time will tell how quickly the battery performance degrades. I havent exactly been keeping track of the hours, but my rough estimate is that the AUBIKA battery roughly doubled the duration of my standalone sessions. Overall this is a good choice for anyone who wishes to avoid the landmine of a product Meta officially offers, especially since it easily fits into any case that works for that official head strap.

Its heads and tails above the original Oculus Quest 2 strap, but I wish there were interchangable pads for the back of the head. This one i find a bit uncomfortable for extended periods. Overall, not a bad purchase especially is you find it on sale.

So, the headset works great. It’s a few details that makes this a 3-4 star Strap. First, it does not extend as long as the Oculus Elite Strap. If you have a big head you might find this strap hard to wear. Having a lot of hair especially thick hair can also make this strap uncomfortable and/or difficult to put on. Second issue is the power button. You have to keep pressing the button 9 to 10 times before it turns on. At first I thought it was a fresh out the box issue and just needed a full charge. But, after a having it for a few weeks and keeping it fully charged. It’s like a morse code combination of pressing and tapping of the power button to power the strap. Lastly, if you have to use the glasses attachment such as myself. It lessens how much head space you have with this strap. The weight of the strap has not been a issue.
