> 3 dayThe battery pack is working so well and we’re no longer running into issues with the oculus dying mid game. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I can’t say that the new strap is “comfortable,” I have to wear it pretty tight or it feels too wobbly, although I do like the knob on the back to tighten or loosen the head strap. Overall the extended battery life makes this a worthwhile purchase.

> 3 dayI bought this for my Oculus Quest 2 since the battery doesn’t last long. It arrived pretty quick but when I charged it, it didn’t hold a charge so I contacted Amazon and they helped me chat with a rep and the replacement was sent right away. I was amazed on how they handle the issue. Great product and service!

> 3 dayIt is a very nice head strap. It charges good too. I had this for about a week and a half and used it maybe 3-4 times so far. It has no damage and is like brand new. But now I have this problem with it today, where their is something shaking inside the strap making noise. The noise is starting to really annoy me as I am trying to relax in vr. I know I didn’t cause this damage because I am really careful with it. It is still a really good head strap and does what it was made to do. It is only this shaking part that is the problem.

> 3 dayI really wanted to love this head strap, the price is right, and the fit is quite good and it seems very well made. The issue is that sometimes it just wont charge the headset and I either end up with a dead headset (but fully charged strap) when I go to use it, or if Im using it I will only get about 3 hours before the headset dies (but the strap is fully charged). I always make sure the green/orange light on the Quest 2 is turned on. Its not in the instructions but it seems you have to hit the little button on the strap for it to charge the headset, but sometimes this doesnt work and you have to sit there and press it multiple times, and even then its a crapshoot if the headset will be charged. As mentioned the fit is great, much better than the stock Quest 2. I dont bother with the black top strap as I hate looking like a bird made a nest in my hair after my VR sessions. Without the middle strap it still fits quite well and the weight balance makes it very comfortable. The tightening mechanism is spot on and works well. Its a shame, its really nice if it just worked well at its primary purpose, charging the headset.

> 3 dayWith so many 3rd party options to pick from, I just went with a middle of the road price. Wish I had gotten a better quality one on retrospect. I used this headset lightly and in less than a year the wheel on the back of the headset just fell off. I take very good care of my things so this was just poor quality. It fit well and is an improvement over the original strap in every way though. Just dont expect it to last long.

> 3 dayA lot more comfortable than the original strap the Oculus comes with. I love how easy it is to put on the headset on my head. Just turn the adjustment knob in the rear to loosen it all the way out. Then slip it on and turn the adjustment knob the opposite direction to tighten the headset onto your head to your liking. No more worrying about the battery going dead so fast anymore too ! It’s all good. Love it !

> 3 dayDoesn’t seem to charge the oculus but it makes it more comfortable

Rayholio the great
> 3 dayNot particularly comparable with docking stations. You’ll have to juggle charging cords and plug in this battery separately from the magnetic dock connector that is common on docks. Other than that minor inconvenience.. it works and feels great

> 3 dayI tried the kiwi strap before this one and I will say I feel the kiwi was a bit more comfortable but you can’t beat having a built in battery.

> 3 dayI would say the overall this Oculus strap with battery pack is an okay value. Ive had it for about 5 weeks now and its comfortable but there are some things that keep it from me giving it four stars. And I may be even a little generous for giving it three stars but for the price point its okay. So the issues Ive had so far are with the top head strap, its basically falling apart and the velcro was the first thing to fall off and then the strap itself started coming apart into two pieces. I have a fix for that so its not that big of a deal but you know after only a few weeks of use you think it wouldnt be coming apart already. You can see what Im talking about in the photos I included with this review. Theres a couple things that should be included in the instructions but for some reason arent in there such as when you turn the battery pack on you have to press the button five times. To turn it off you have to press it two times but nowhere in the instructions does it say this so you just kind of have to figure it out. The last thing is it says you can charge the Oculus and the battery pack at the same time however theres one caveat to that you cannot have your Oculus completely powered off it has to be in sleep mode otherwise it wont charge, only the battery pack will charge. Again these are some basic things you know that I think should be included in the instructions. Thats my two cents hope this helps someone make a decision on their purchase.
