So, two things to know. This product works great. It has a wonderful way of integrating into your quest 2 system, and comes in handy when the battery is running low. Its also a beautiful design. But... theres a manufacturing defect. Youve likely seen the other posts. They have great customer service, so you can get a replacement. However, you can also fix it! The black piece with the rubber head cradle snaps off with a fair amount of force, giving access to the tiny screw that came loose. A little loctite or epoxy on those threads and you should never have this issue again. Game on!

Just got my new headstrap and its pretty good!!! It definitely improved comfort noticeably, but maybe not as great as some youtubers made it out to be, still it is improvement. Also I love the long battery life, it definitely allows me to get more into the game without worrying about battery life or if ive charged it lately. Will update later on to see how it holds up!

So my son has had this headset for his oculus for just over 4 months (conveniently a month after Amazon’s product guarantee ended). The circle on the back that adjusts the size of the headset has come off, and the headset can no longer be adjusted. He can pull the straps to get it onto his head, but it doesn’t stay tight on his head anymore. I’m currently waiting to hear back from the seller to see if anything can be done about this. I’m really hoping that they can help out and not say “sorry, oh well”. Update - the seller got back to me, and I’m waiting on a new headset to be delivered. I hope this one lasts longer!

I’ve learned to plug the battery pack in after 20-30mins of gameplay, vs waiting till your headset tells you it’s dying. You’ll easily get 5 hours now with this expansion And compared to what you get when you buy an oculus at first, it completely removes VR mask (That red ring around ur face that takes FOREVER to go away)

The plastic on the sides is very thin. I picked it up by the battery pack and it literally just snapped in half. It also cracked in another spot at the same time. The Oculus and batty pack is to heavy for the plastic. I’ve only had this for 2 months so it’s not wear and tear. I’m going to contact seller and see what we can do about this. I paid $66 for this and would like to get longer then 2 months use out of it.

With his Christmas money, my son asked me to order this for him to replace his old strap from last year. The skull cradle is more comfortable for him and he doesnt feel the squeeze he would from the elastic type original strap around his head. The battery pack is great, so he doesnt have to charge it after he uses it every time.

The dial on unit was strong could get it tight enough that it would stay put while moving quite abit, also the extended play time with battery was adequate good product

The battery pack lasts a long time charges quickly the weight on the back where the battery is. Is it good counter weight for the front portion of the headset. I would recommend this over the official one as it functions similarly. So far so good. It feels like it has solid construction and its not flimsy. Give it a try! I really do enjoy it.

This is amazing, and for the price its worth it. I honestly havent used my headset in a few weeks but every time I have, its such a snug fit all because the head strap. it hugs the back of your head perfectly, and the charging is awesome. You can even charge your oculus and the head strap simultaneously so its like youre charging 2x as fast. Recommend to all of you!
