Aubika Elite Strap with Battery and Carrying Case for Oculus Quest 2, Enhanced Comfort and Playtime - Gray

These are so much easier to get on & off and adjust to different peoples heads. Plus they have a back up battery that allows you to play for a long time! We havent had any problems so far!

Im a guy with a fluffy head of hair. Lots of people on YouTube recommended halo style straps, most of whom were very short-haired or bald. Im sure they work fantastic for them, but no matter what I tried theyd always just slide all over the place on my head, because they had no true geometry based grip and only relied on friction. THIS ON THE OTHER HAND is absolutely amazing, because it actually cups the base of my skull properly! The diamond-shaped side straps look totally sick and have been very strong so far (been using the headset occasionally over the past few years), adjustability is really smooth and easy, and the battery easily doubles my playtime. Kinda wish it was hot-swappable like the BoboVR system, but I guess we cant have everything. It does handle about any combination of power you can think of - obviously you can plug it into the Quest to charge it, but you can also leave it plugged in and turn it off so it DOESNT charge it... You can charge the battery itself, you can charge it while its plugged into the Quest without it charging the Quest, or you can daisy chain (sort of) to charge both with a single power source. (In this case, they will both charge simultaneously - some external batteries Ive used will route power directly to the other device to charge it faster before charging itself, but this does not do that.) Overall I havent taken it off and would highly recommend!

I invested time looking for a quality head strap for my son’s be headset. I had read that some snap easily. So far, this headset has been perfect. I paid extra for the warranty. The item came on time and met our needs. I recommend this seller. Thanks!

I debated this strap at first but with regular use it’s definitely a must have in my opinion. It’s easy to install. I love that you can easily adjust it with the turn of the knob and that it cradles the head for a more secure fit when being active. The extra battery life is a great feature as well.

I’ve learned to plug the battery pack in after 20-30mins of gameplay, vs waiting till your headset tells you it’s dying. You’ll easily get 5 hours now with this expansion And compared to what you get when you buy an oculus at first, it completely removes VR mask (That red ring around ur face that takes FOREVER to go away)

When I tried the official Meta (at the time Oculus) head strap, it snapped like everybody elses. This head strap does solve the problem of the side arms snapping, and the added length at the ends for easy removal is an awesome touch. Unfortunately, even on day one, the rear adjustment knob felt pretty loose. It doesnt feel unsafe, as the actual strap never wobbles. Just the knob, but its not exactly reassuring. This head strap would be a lot more comfortable overall if the rear compartment were significantly heavier in order to better counter-balance the headset. The advertised claim isnt false, just insufficient in practice. The battery is pretty good, it doesnt charge the headset battery past where it is when you turn on the AUBIKA battery, but rather holds the headset battery charge in place for the duration of the AUBIKA batterys charge. This is actually the optimal charge level for an external battery and for the headset batterys health. Very nice, though I have only had this head strap for about a week, and time will tell how quickly the battery performance degrades. I havent exactly been keeping track of the hours, but my rough estimate is that the AUBIKA battery roughly doubled the duration of my standalone sessions. Overall this is a good choice for anyone who wishes to avoid the landmine of a product Meta officially offers, especially since it easily fits into any case that works for that official head strap.

Not particularly comparable with docking stations. You’ll have to juggle charging cords and plug in this battery separately from the magnetic dock connector that is common on docks. Other than that minor inconvenience.. it works and feels great

Head strap works well and feels much better than the factory elastic bands, and the battery works fine to extend the life of the Quest 2. Would be a 5 star product but it doesn’t charge the Quest 2 at the same time the battery is charging. Product claims to be able to charge both the battery and the Quest, but that feature doesn’t work, even when left over night. Have to charge the battery and then plug charger directly into Quest to charge that. Still a good deal for the head strap and battery though, and last I looked the battery had a higher capacity than the official elite strap.

This is amazing, and for the price its worth it. I honestly havent used my headset in a few weeks but every time I have, its such a snug fit all because the head strap. it hugs the back of your head perfectly, and the charging is awesome. You can even charge your oculus and the head strap simultaneously so its like youre charging 2x as fast. Recommend to all of you!
