> 3 dayDoubled the life of my oculus and super easy to use. You do need to engage the battery to charge the main headset and to turn it off, which I love because I can ensure I always have battery to play or watch media. Highly recommend this to everyone.

17-11-2024I would say the overall this Oculus strap with battery pack is an okay value. Ive had it for about 5 weeks now and its comfortable but there are some things that keep it from me giving it four stars. And I may be even a little generous for giving it three stars but for the price point its okay. So the issues Ive had so far are with the top head strap, its basically falling apart and the velcro was the first thing to fall off and then the strap itself started coming apart into two pieces. I have a fix for that so its not that big of a deal but you know after only a few weeks of use you think it wouldnt be coming apart already. You can see what Im talking about in the photos I included with this review. Theres a couple things that should be included in the instructions but for some reason arent in there such as when you turn the battery pack on you have to press the button five times. To turn it off you have to press it two times but nowhere in the instructions does it say this so you just kind of have to figure it out. The last thing is it says you can charge the Oculus and the battery pack at the same time however theres one caveat to that you cannot have your Oculus completely powered off it has to be in sleep mode otherwise it wont charge, only the battery pack will charge. Again these are some basic things you know that I think should be included in the instructions. Thats my two cents hope this helps someone make a decision on their purchase.

> 3 dayWhen I tried the official Meta (at the time Oculus) head strap, it snapped like everybody elses. This head strap does solve the problem of the side arms snapping, and the added length at the ends for easy removal is an awesome touch. Unfortunately, even on day one, the rear adjustment knob felt pretty loose. It doesnt feel unsafe, as the actual strap never wobbles. Just the knob, but its not exactly reassuring. This head strap would be a lot more comfortable overall if the rear compartment were significantly heavier in order to better counter-balance the headset. The advertised claim isnt false, just insufficient in practice. The battery is pretty good, it doesnt charge the headset battery past where it is when you turn on the AUBIKA battery, but rather holds the headset battery charge in place for the duration of the AUBIKA batterys charge. This is actually the optimal charge level for an external battery and for the headset batterys health. Very nice, though I have only had this head strap for about a week, and time will tell how quickly the battery performance degrades. I havent exactly been keeping track of the hours, but my rough estimate is that the AUBIKA battery roughly doubled the duration of my standalone sessions. Overall this is a good choice for anyone who wishes to avoid the landmine of a product Meta officially offers, especially since it easily fits into any case that works for that official head strap.

> 3 dayBattery charges quest extremely slowly. I only noticed this because my Quest died while being charged by the battery pack. Note that i turned the battery pack on when the oculus was at about 5-10%. If you enable the battery pack well before that point it should be fine. Gives maybe an hour and a half of extra power at best. Also charges up very slowly.

> 3 dayThe battery pack is working so well and we’re no longer running into issues with the oculus dying mid game. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I can’t say that the new strap is “comfortable,” I have to wear it pretty tight or it feels too wobbly, although I do like the knob on the back to tighten or loosen the head strap. Overall the extended battery life makes this a worthwhile purchase.

> 3 dayJust got my new headstrap and its pretty good!!! It definitely improved comfort noticeably, but maybe not as great as some youtubers made it out to be, still it is improvement. Also I love the long battery life, it definitely allows me to get more into the game without worrying about battery life or if ive charged it lately. Will update later on to see how it holds up!

> 3 dayI’m happy I picked this up. It’s just the right price too. It’s been useful for longer play time. If you looking to buy the elite and worry about the build quality, this brand will be the better choice
