Ill admit, Im not up to date with technology, especially entering a new world of PTZ cameras and video production. I had a couple user friendly issues at first, but customer service went above and beyond to help me. I would bet money that no other company would assist you with their products better than AVKANS. Im a customer for life. Perfect for churches, Im personally using it for a professional wrestling production. Can we talk about how much money this thing is going to save me on having to hire another camera person? Also, the PTZ motor in it is extremely quiet. No vibration when in use. I am planning to buy another one soon.

A major university wants to use our classroom for remote classroom instruction. I have been tasked with researching, testing, and configuring our classroom for that purpose. I purchased the AVKANS 20X NDI Auto Tracking PTZ Camera. My area of responsibility is network administration, this is my first deep dive into telecommunications. Being unfamiliar with the camera I emailed Avkans support with questions. They responded almost immediately. We exchanged several emails when they offered to remote in and help configure the camera. Im in Pennsylvania, US, Avkans support is in China, a 12 hour time differential. They accommodated my schedule, which is unheard of in the tech support field. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. Technical support is extremely important to me and bad support will keep me from buying a product. I would have to rate Avkans support among the best, if not the best, tech support that I have encountered. I dont know how many more cameras I will need but if I do I will be buying Avkans cameras.

As we all know customer support is a hit or miss thing. Most companies couldnt care less about you and a tech issue you are having. To my surprise, AVKANS is unlike them. Very good support. Had an issue the other day and sent an email to their support center. Within an hour I received a reply, setup a Teamviewer session, and had the solution that fixed the problem. All from halfway around the world!! I cant get a local support person from another company to help me from their center 5 miles away!! Based on this level of support, I would have to recommend AVKANS to everyone. The picture is great, the zoom is fantastic, and the tracking capability is beyond belief. Add to that the support level, you cant beat it.

I was shocked at how great the quality of this camera is and how easy it is to maneuver. The thing that keeps me coming to Avkans is the outstanding customer service. Great product!

A big Thank You to your team for the support on the camera setup for our church.. Ill like to especially thank David, Bruce & Jenny for the support they gave via a remote session to resolve some connectivity issues between the joystick and the camera. They performed some troubleshooting, upgraded the firmware, and reconfigured where necessary. It was definitely needed because we had spent a few days trying to figure it out ourselves. We also found out that the camera sent was of a higher grade than the ones we ordered, so that was a plus for us. Overall, the customer service was great, and I recommend their product and services to anyone.

Worked okay, but the NDI feature is mostly worthless. The video quality over HDMI was fine, but via NDI it was not great (makes sense since its NDI|HX @ only ~10 Mbps vs. Full NDI high bandwidth at ~100 Mbps vs 2970 (!) Mbps for 3G-SDI). Whats worse is the control latency over Ethernet is way too slow, both via their own AVKANS CameraCMS as well as NDI Studio Monitor, both over Gigabit Ethernet. Part of that is the NDI|HX protocol itself (full NDI or at least NDI|HX3 is much lower latency), but even with a direct HDMI feed it was too laggy for my needs, so its definitely an issue with the camera itself as well. Saving presets helps of course, but sometimes things still need tweaking and it was a pain to do so. Unfortunately the cheapest Full NDI cameras are $1900, so Ill just have to go back to a non-NDI workflow, at which point you can spend a bit more than this and get even better video quality (and hopefully workable control latency).

When we first purchased this item we had a minor issue getting things up and running. Tech support was Johnny-On-The_Spot. Since then weve enjoyed its ease of use and quality of image. The only issue weve ever experience before was because of our pastor, not the camera. He gets so animated (moves around A LOT!) that the camera would occasionally lose him because it couldnt keep up. I dont think an $8000 camera could keep up with him then. That being said, once again, Akvans tech support came to our rescue. Recently we lost connectivity between the camera and the CMS software because of a provider change. I dont know who the tech was by name, but the person was able to log in remotely and fix the problem. And there was no long wait for the support. Within a matter of hours they got back with us, and once logged on, identified the problem and fixed it. A-plus tech support. They never leave you hanging.

This worked great for our Chapel. We have a 2 camera setup....a camcorder for the reader at the podium which is fixed....then we have this AVKAN PTZ Auto Tracking Camera as our Main camera that tracks and follows the Presider. Works great with OBS Studio and I can cut between the two cameras with OBS Studio which is a GREAT free software. Incredible zoom as well and tracking works perfect! Highly recommend!

AI Tracking works very good and the camera replaced me having to do all the manual work.
