> 3 dayThese cameras are used at our woodturning shop to allow an audience to watch our demonstrations on large monitors. The image quality is very good and the pan, tilt and zoom functions are great.

> 3 dayLens zoom is excellent for the small church. The PTZ function is near silent. Using with a joystick set to slowest speed, you can see steps when panning. The autofocus sometimes freaks out but not often. We usually click the joystick manual focus button to prevent that from happening. Using HDMI output to an ATEM simultaneously an ethernet connection to joystick with a display. Configuration was no too terribly difficult, but the instruction booklet was wonky and not exactly correct. We are powering this camera with a POE switch to reduce cable count. Overall, we are very satisfied with this camera.

> 3 dayThis worked great for our Chapel. We have a 2 camera setup....a camcorder for the reader at the podium which is fixed....then we have this AVKAN PTZ Auto Tracking Camera as our Main camera that tracks and follows the Presider. Works great with OBS Studio and I can cut between the two cameras with OBS Studio which is a GREAT free software. Incredible zoom as well and tracking works perfect! Highly recommend!

> 3 dayAfter initial issues with the camera gearing it working with OBS, after upgrade to v3 and v5 respectively everything works fine! Great Image Quality! And easy operation via OBS and PTZOptics plugin.

> 3 dayWorked okay, but the NDI feature is mostly worthless. The video quality over HDMI was fine, but via NDI it was not great (makes sense since its NDI|HX @ only ~10 Mbps vs. Full NDI high bandwidth at ~100 Mbps vs 2970 (!) Mbps for 3G-SDI). Whats worse is the control latency over Ethernet is way too slow, both via their own AVKANS CameraCMS as well as NDI Studio Monitor, both over Gigabit Ethernet. Part of that is the NDI|HX protocol itself (full NDI or at least NDI|HX3 is much lower latency), but even with a direct HDMI feed it was too laggy for my needs, so its definitely an issue with the camera itself as well. Saving presets helps of course, but sometimes things still need tweaking and it was a pain to do so. Unfortunately the cheapest Full NDI cameras are $1900, so Ill just have to go back to a non-NDI workflow, at which point you can spend a bit more than this and get even better video quality (and hopefully workable control latency).

Greater than one weekBeautiful image with an optical zoom (so much better than a digital zoom that gets pixelated on other cameras) You can set it up ad-hoc to a ptz controller (via a crossover network cable), or via any cheap networking switch (via normal ethernet network cable). Default username is admin and password is 123456 - this part was not very clear to me but now that I know its all good. Support is quick to respond!

> 3 dayA major university wants to use our classroom for remote classroom instruction. I have been tasked with researching, testing, and configuring our classroom for that purpose. I purchased the AVKANS 20X NDI Auto Tracking PTZ Camera. My area of responsibility is network administration, this is my first deep dive into telecommunications. Being unfamiliar with the camera I emailed Avkans support with questions. They responded almost immediately. We exchanged several emails when they offered to remote in and help configure the camera. Im in Pennsylvania, US, Avkans support is in China, a 12 hour time differential. They accommodated my schedule, which is unheard of in the tech support field. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. Technical support is extremely important to me and bad support will keep me from buying a product. I would have to rate Avkans support among the best, if not the best, tech support that I have encountered. I dont know how many more cameras I will need but if I do I will be buying Avkans cameras.

> 3 dayUpdate 4/29/2022 After some assistance through remote support I am happy to update my review back to five stars. Furthermore I learned that you can remotely start and stop auto tracking by clicking 80 and 81 on my joystick call buttons. Both cameras seem to work at 100%. There was only one issue I am not sure if it was fixed but I am hopeful it was fixed with firmware update. Update-3/31/22 Bought a second camera and then mounted them and all of a sudden the auto tracking ceased to work correctly on both of them and the last purchased camera freezes mid stream almost at regular intervals. Using NDI on both of them and that correlates with the issues beginning but when testing the old way it still would not auto track which is the greatest let down. I demoted two stars because of these issues and also not finding any Support for updating these cameras. They still function as a great PTZ camera except the one has issues with the light being in line of the eye and making everything color washed. I control both cameras remotely using the Super Joystick by PTZ Optics. The NDI Function is awesome as I only need one POE Ethernet cable to have power video and control! Just bought this camera for use in a Church and so far it is amazing. Pre purchase considerations: I was hesitant to spend upwards of 2 or three times the amount on similar products just for ai Auto tracking features. And I was a little worried that the 20x optical zoom being able to cope with the 50 ft distance I would be needing it for as well as the ai auto tracking working like it should be. After a couple of weeks of use I am blown away at the possibilities and quality that this is over the prior cameras we had, none of which were ptz cameras. This camera is perfect for lower entry into the PTZ world with auto tracking capabilities. It takes a bit of research to figure out how to make it work how you want it to but for me it has been enjoyable. Pros: Price $1500 is a bargain compared to more heard of competitors (heard it used to be cheaper... So wish I had found this product back then!!) Works well with PTZOptics Joystick and live streaming. Cons: Software is a little backwards (Make sure to set the miniscule board under the camera to Menu in order to utilize the Software in changing camera settings - Lost a lot of time trying to figure that out.) and directions were a bit sparse for setting up. Remote control that comes with it is almost worthless because it barely registered in front of camera and unresponsive behind it.

> 3 dayFor my business that I both Zoom and lecture, I bought this auto tracking Avkans camera. I got it and had it up and running for my Zooms using USB cable, in 15 minutes. Then today, I connected a HDMI cable to the camera and to my ATEM Mini Pro. Worked perfect again. Full control of video in Menu on remote control. Set it to 1080p using the micro dip switches on the camera. Used the remote to both set presets and auto track. Read the instructions, and its actually quite easy to get up and running! And the camera performs as advertised! Thanks Avkans!
