Beautiful image with an optical zoom (so much better than a digital zoom that gets pixelated on other cameras) You can set it up ad-hoc to a ptz controller (via a crossover network cable), or via any cheap networking switch (via normal ethernet network cable). Default username is admin and password is 123456 - this part was not very clear to me but now that I know its all good. Support is quick to respond!

This is my 3rd AVKANS camera. The first 2 were the X20 and X30 models. When I saw that this camera had a tracking feature, I had to try it out. I use these cameras in a classroom environment for a local museum. Previously I would use a PTX controller to manually move the camera around. which was difficult to stay on top of when you are busy with other tasks. The first time out I set the tracking on the speaker, and it stayed with them the whole 3-hour presentation. This allowed me to focus on running the slides and even adding some picture in a picture footage to the final product. In addition to the tracking, the major pluses are the built-in NDI and power over Ethernet. This allows me to operate the camera from over 50 away with a single cable. For those of you interested, my setup consists of the following Black Magic Design ATEM Pro switched PTX Optics Superjoy Net Gear Switch with PoE AVKAM X30 Camera AVKAM X20 Camera And the auto tracking AVKAM camera. By using multiple cameras I can use the X20 and X30 for focusing on members of the audience when they are asking questions and the auto tracking to follow the instructor. It took a little while to configure the new camera to the SuperJoy, but AVKAMs support offered great assistance via email and within 24 hours on a weekend had a working solution.

The company has been very helpful and responsive. We bought the kit with the two cameras and the switcher for our new livestream set up at church. We added this camera and it matched perfectly. We mounted the new camera upside down and could just flip the image in the software. The cameras move smooth and zoom well. Very professional. If you buy the controller it can do hundreds of preset shots per camera and up to 6 cameras on the controller. Use OBS and YouTube and you are all set.

I have three AVKANS Cameras, the 20x SDA, 30x SDI and AutoTracking. They are all amazing for the price. The 20x and 30x have worked flawlessly for over a year and the AutoTracking looks great in my testing. I replace Canon G50s which had slightly better optics, but these are good enough for our church service and having a true IP PTZ camera is much nicer.

Bought this camera for use as a second camera for church streaming. Set-up was simple using NDI for the video. I was having a little trouble configuring the PTZOptics camera control, but an email to their support was responded to within 4 hours, even on a Saturday! Honestly, they do not have to support another companys control app, but they did, and quickly. This camera is a steal at the price.

For my business that I both Zoom and lecture, I bought this auto tracking Avkans camera. I got it and had it up and running for my Zooms using USB cable, in 15 minutes. Then today, I connected a HDMI cable to the camera and to my ATEM Mini Pro. Worked perfect again. Full control of video in Menu on remote control. Set it to 1080p using the micro dip switches on the camera. Used the remote to both set presets and auto track. Read the instructions, and its actually quite easy to get up and running! And the camera performs as advertised! Thanks Avkans!

I have three of these cameras and enjoy using them. The image is a little soft which is good for the complexion. They were easy to setup and connect to my controller (PTZOptics superjoy). The tech support has been helpful and fast. I have only contacted them for firmware updates and questions related to that. It will only track one person. If there are other people in the frame it may lock on one you do not wish to track. However, if that is the case you can take it off auto tracking and use you controller. The camera has smooth start and stop functions. I only wish they would put the smooth start and stop on their other cameras like the 20x and 30x. I believe it was money well spent.

I looked at a lot of cameras before buying this one. It appeared to be a value packed device. Initially it worked great with its own software but wasn’t playing well with Wirecast. I contacted tech support and they quickly got the problem resolved. I now own2 with plans to buy 2 more.
