> 24 hourOver priced! I’m a sucker for paying over $30 for this. I thought that meant it was extra good... just didn’t see the $8 used options. My 23 month old daughter doesn’t stay interested in this dvd either.

> 24 hourFirst my grandson (who is now six) and now my 13-month-old granddaughter love Baby Einstein and watch them all the time. I ordered this one to add to the collection and was not disappointed. She loves this one as well. Excellent teaching and learning while being entertained at the same time. A winning combination!

> 24 hourAs a counselor for families with young babies, I have had the opportunity to review a number of sign language resources for preverbal babies. This DVD seems more appropriate for older children rather than preverbal babies who are trying to communicate basic wants and needs. Some of the most important first words and signs for young babies are not offered - eat, drink, milk, more, etc. Instead this DVD offers words and signs such as computer, puzzle, clock, etc. In addition, there are no babies signing or speaking in this production and it lacks an appropriate tutorial for parents of hearing babies who are teaching their babies to use sign language. I recommend the My Baby Can Talk series to teach either sign language or first spoken words to babies.

> 24 hourI bought this DVD for my granddaughter (10 months). My son tells me she is fascinated and he loves it because it gives him 15 minutes to read the paper, have a cup of coffee----- She sits in her activity walker and focuses.

> 24 hourI bought this for my sons first birthday. He has loved Baby Einstein since he was 5 months old (its the only show hes allowed to watch at such a young age). He also started learning Baby Signs when he was six months old, so I knew he would love this video. It is true that most of the signs are not ASL, as one reviewer mentioned. However, the writer of that review should probably read more about Baby Signs. The purpose of teaching signs to an infant is to be able to communicate with the child, period. It is not to prepare the child to communicate with the deaf. Baby Signs are meant to be as simple as possible, so that young children can grasp them easily. I do agree with the person who mentioned the two - minute ad for Little Einstein that cannot be skipped. It is a pain to have to sit through it every time my son wants to watch the movie. However, it is an overall wonderful show that both taught my son new signs and kept him entertained.

> 24 hourMy daughter has always loved BE videos. I was excited when this one came out because she is speech impaired. I had already taught her some basic signs but this video (and all the other BE videos with sign) helped her gain some new signs and a new confidence in communication. Once my daughter learns a sign she soon tries to speak the word as well. We are now teaching my son signs even though he shows no impairment in speech. I would recomend any BE video and encourage parents to try signing with their children sppech impaired or not.

> 24 hourThis one doesnt seem to hold her attention for very long. I should check the age, maybe she is too young at 18 months. I also wish she would spare us the marketing in the begining of the video that you cant fast forward. My baby dont need to see that crap.

> 24 hourMy son just loves the Baby Einstein series -- some of them more than others, but he has NEVER lost interest after only 5 minutes as he did with this one. I have only watched the first 10 minutes of this, so my review cannot possibly be comprehensive. But...well...I thought it was boring too and Im used to being completely charmed & visually stimulated myself by the BE videos. Baby Wordsworth starts with an introduction to the objects in your house (assuming we all have one that looks like your standard Colonial) and then proceeds to introduce the objectsat (for BE) a rapid-fire pace with no real exploration of their meaning or use. Some kids might like this, but I think my sons reaction was -- like -- Whats with this stuff? This is the same stuff I see every day. Then theres this footage of familes doing normal things in their house. Its like watching a series of glossy, well-produced television commercials (Shall we go to the refrigerator and get a treat, honey? Lets make a cake!). Im not a cynic about home-based activities, but feel that, since we pretty much live them (albeit in a far less fabulous kitchen) it takes a little bit more effort to make this sort of thing stimulating in video form. My advice is dont waste your money. Also, I purchased the VHS and the sound quality is appalling. This video is being returned tomorrow.

> 24 hourI used this video for every one of my three kids....sure I got a little bored, but it was nice to have something on as I walked them around to sooth them. This just gave me a chance to multitask and get them to get engaged into something educational. Great buy. Though I will say that there are many of baby einstein videos on youtube ;)
