Baby Einstein - Baby Wordsworth - First Words - Around the House [DVD]

I like Marlee Matlin and some of the other DVDs in the Baby Einstein series so was looking forward to this one. It is unfortunately not that great for teaching sign language (I prefer both My Baby Can Talk and Signing Time). The worst part of it is how long a child has to wait for the actual content; there is no way to skip the COMMERCIAL for Disneys Little Einsteins!

This is definately worth the time and money to invest for your child. What a learning experience in teaching tool. Get it! You wont regret it. Your child will love it. I use this in my daycare too and all my children are well beyond their age appropriate learning capacity. Any B.E. video is well worth it!

Kept our 13 month old engaged through the whole program. Our 5 year old was learning sign language by watching it too. Totally worth it.

Great learning tool for children learning to speak

One of the best of the Baby Einstein series, this DVD is engaging, educational and fun to watch. I love the fact that theyve integrated sign language into this one -- and Marlee Maitlin is fantastic at demonstrating the signs; enthusiastic and pleasant at the same time! This one is great for ages 12 months plus.

I bought this DVD for my 21 month old and she absolutely loves it! She very quickly has picked up on close to ten different signs. I highly recommend this DVD and give kudos to Baby Einstein for coming out with a tool to help children communicate through signing.

I highly recommend this video to anyone wishing to expand their toddlers vocabulary. My 15-month old picked up the words very quickly, and the video has helped us encouraged her to use words to express herself. There are a few words introduced that are quite difficult for a child her age to pronounce (computer, refrigerator, telephone, etc.), otherwise I would have given this video 5 stars.

The case inserts were printed on a low quality color printer and then it wouldnt play!! There was no mention this product was anything other than new anywhere in the description. I was expecting a new product. Very disappointed.
