> 3 dayI was hoping that this DVD would help introduce baby sign language to my child. However, it is pretty disappointing for a Baby Einstein product. I expected the DVD to teach more practical terms such as hello, nap, play, parts of the body, eat-instead it teaches objects like bowl. Hopefully my child will be more interested in it when she gets a little older! Otherwise,I will have to pass it along to friends...I would recommend saving your money or spending it on Baby Mozart or Baby Neptune DVDs. Those are fantastic!

> 3 dayI am pleased to see that ASL is finally getting more popular for young children. I have a child who is hearing impared and we have used ASL with her since she was an infant. This video is a good starting tool for young children but as they grow they will want to know more and will need something a little more entergetic to hold there attention. We also use the SIGNING TIME series with our daughter. We love the role model that Marlee has become in Blues clues and now in this new video. My 3 yr old recognized her right away.

> 3 dayI love Baby Einstein products, especially the videos, but my 1year old found this one so boring he didnt sit through even the first viewing. They just say the name of something and show a picture of it and have a woman signing the word on half the screen. He loved neighborhood animals and baby neptune a lot more.

> 3 dayMy 15 month old boy LOVES B.E. dvds. He watches baby wordsworth with great concentration and he is even doing some of the signs. As a mom, Im a great lover of Baby Einstein products and I would recommend to all kids. Ive read some of the reviews and its quit abvious how different kids are from each other. That doesnt mean that dvd is bad its just not working for some kids. Its working for my son so Im very positive about it. As an adult, Im so bored with the dvd and the pace but the baby einstein company didnt make the program for my age group.

> 3 dayMy son is 15 months old and loves most of the Baby Einstein DVDs that we have. This one doesnt seem to hold his interest as much as some of the others do. It is very educational with sections teaching him new words and how to sign those new words, but this section moves rather slowly and I think he likes the sections with the music and visuals better. His favorites right now are Baby Bach, Neighborhood Animals and Baby Neptune.

> 3 dayMy daughter has always loved BE videos. I was excited when this one came out because she is speech impaired. I had already taught her some basic signs but this video (and all the other BE videos with sign) helped her gain some new signs and a new confidence in communication. Once my daughter learns a sign she soon tries to speak the word as well. We are now teaching my son signs even though he shows no impairment in speech. I would recomend any BE video and encourage parents to try signing with their children sppech impaired or not.

> 3 dayMy babies are about 22 months old and just love these videos. This video keeps them hooked with sounds, music, shapes and colors. This along with constant movement really keep the children focused. They learn without even realizing it which makes this a great video for young children.

> 3 dayTHIS TYPE OF DVD CALMS MY AUTISTIC SON AND HELPS HIM TO IMPROVE HIS VOCABULARY. I GET MORE WORDS FROM HIM WITH THIS KIND OF MOVIE THAN WITH TRADITIONAL SPEECH THERAPY! PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM REFERING TO THE BABY EINSTEIN MOVIES for babies (hulge diference from the first ones that came out on the market few years ago)!! All I want is to state how much a simple, direct, and slow teaching of words REALLY helped my severe autistic child to increase his vocabulary and his self confidence... Any parent of a language impaired and severe autistic child can relate and understand the potential benefit from videos like this one.
