You can spend a ton of money on balance bikes but this one is great and won’t break the bank. VERY easy to assemble. Love the quick release seat. Banana makes a slightly bigger model with pneumatic tires; my twins are small so I went with this one but I’m not wild about the foam tires. Also remember how short the lifespan of any balance bike will be: kids will be on a training wheels bike in a year, spending more on a fancy balance bike seems foolish.

THE HANDLEBARS DID NOT FIT. THE FORKS WERE THE WRONG ONES. WERE SET UP TO BOLT ON THE HANDLEBARS. THIS ONE HAD THE CLAMP TO TIGHTEN. EMAILED THE COMPANY AN NO RESPONSE

PROS: -Super cute. Good design with nothing sticking out to give ankle rash. -Saddle goes really low (12) for shorties. My son got it for his 2nd bday and he is not quite 34 tall. The seat adjusts easily. -Seems really sturdy so far, though it hasnt taken a lot of abuse since he is still so little/figuring it all out. -Tires do not inflate so you dont have to worry about flats. The foam is nice and thick/solid—I was worried (before purchasing/seeing it in real life) that the foam would be flimsy or have chunks get ripped out or something but I dont think thats really possible. -Handlebars seem to be nice quality. -Half the price of a Strider of similar quality. CONS: I havent thought of any yet!

We absolutely LOVE it!! The adjustable height makes it perfect for either my 2yr old or my 4yr old to ride around on. Its built very sturdy, my youngest is a walking disaster and even she cant do any damage to this thing. The metal parts are solid enough to not bend or dent, and the plastic is thick enough its virtually impossible to break. Despite the durability, its also lightweight. Littlest has tipped it a couple times (dont worry, with helmet and pads on) and it doesnt cause any injuries from the bike falling onto legs. It was pretty easy to put together, with one exception...and this is not called out anywhere on the instructions, or pictured, so it wasnt blatantly obvious to us...TAKE THE BLACK PLASTIC OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE HANDLEBARS!!! Its not needed, just a protective shield for the metal point. All the directions said was to slide the handlebars into the base, no picture of the bottom of the handlebars, and it took us an embarrassingly long time to figure it out, we kept trying to make it fit as-is.

The tires on the bike are plastic, so not the best quality in my opinion (unless you fear popping the tire). That being said, they get the job done, time will tell if the standup to the test of time. The design is great though with the low bar which allows the toddler to swing his legs on and off the bike easily. edit plastic tires actually very useful where I live as there are tons of sand spurs which have created havoc on my bicycle & stroller tires.

Bought this last Christmas for our then 3 year old...she was coming off of a tricycle. She was delighted with the bike and over the course of a few months really got the hang of it...a year later she flys & glides around on it a lightening speed. She will easily transition to a peddle bike after this experience. The bike is excellent quality, affordable, lightweight, and has provided hours of enjoyment. A great purchase!

After doing a lot of research on balance bikes, settled on the Banana bike due to light weight and price. My 3 year old grandson loves it and rides it everywhere. Within a couple of weeks he was balancing well and speeding along. Very sturdy and yet light weight for a toddler to handle easily. Highly recommend!

Bought this for my 18month old and he figured it out quick! He’s 2.5 now and still rides it everyday and absolutely loves it. We live in the country and he rides on all kinds of terrain and it has held up great. Easy to learn and the seat adjusts nicely as they grow. My other son had a strider bike years ago and I have to say I prefer this Banana bike over the Strider.

We bought this product for our 2 yr old son at Christmas... he rode it with ease indoors until weather permitted outdoor use. It has been amazing to watch him on it - he even keeps up with his older siblings in our cove. As he becomes more comfortable, I have actually noticed him lifting his feet slightly and coasting as he learns to balance. He might just learn to ride with pedals sooner than his siblings. On another note, their customer service is awesome! My son had bike day at school and his teachers loved it so much they wondered about having a few for the preschool. We surprised them with three new bikes that each of our children took into them. One of them had a little trouble with a nut that wouldnt stay on, so I immediately reached out to the company asking for an exchange. Instead, the promptly sent a replacement free of charge that arrived within two days. I love this company for the product itself, but now I know the customer service is just as great!
