> 3 dayLOVE this bike! My son picked up on balancing to ride the bike very quickly and didn’t use training wheels on his other bike for very long.

> 3 dayBought this for my 18month old and he figured it out quick! He’s 2.5 now and still rides it everyday and absolutely loves it. We live in the country and he rides on all kinds of terrain and it has held up great. Easy to learn and the seat adjusts nicely as they grow. My other son had a strider bike years ago and I have to say I prefer this Banana bike over the Strider.

Greater than one weekThis bike has been perfect for my 2 year old and with the height adjustment my 4 year old can also use it. It is very light weight and way to use and took her no time at all to get the hang of it. We have an older strider of a similar size and this one seems to be easier for them to use. Very happy with this purchase!

11-06-2025We love our banana bike. When we got the bike it took us maybe 20 minutes to assemble. It was fairly easy to figure out. We had to change the seat height to fit it for our 3 year old but after that it was perfect. The bike took some getting used to for our son. I would say after using it pretty consistently for 2 or 3 weeks he is now using his feet to push off and coast instead of walking while on the seat. This bike was the right price and great quality.

Greater than one weekMy daughter is 2 years old (will be 3 in 2 months) and she loves her new bike! She is 37.5” tall and this bike fits her perfectly. She just got it a week ago and is still getting comfortable with it. We did buy her a radioflyer metal trike for her 2nd birthday that she rode and enjoyed. I honestly think the transition from pedals to no pedals is throwing her a curve ball, and I’d recommend this bike instead of the trike for a first bike (something I wish we had looked into sooner, I would’ve skipped the trike altogether).

Not happy
> 3 dayThe box did not have any external damage from shipping. Purchased for a B-day and it was not rideable. Both wheels were warped out of the box. Thought were were getting a nicer one, should have bought the Walmart strider. Now making a late night run to Walmart so I have a present for my daughters birthday tomorrow. :( Wheels are plastic not aluminum.

> 3 dayI had no idea these existed until my wife started talking about them. We decided to try it out for our 4 year old son and was that ever a great idea. He has gone from not wanting to take both feet off the ground (and moving at a snails pace) to zooming around the sidewalk with both feet up. Hes going to be ready for a pedal bike in no time. Our next two kids will definitely be starting out on this as well. The only complaint I have is that the clamp for the seat doesnt work incredibly well - I set it up high at the start of a ride and by the time hes done it has slipped all the way to the bottom. I would still highly recommend it though.

> 3 dayI grew up loving everything bike related. I raced BMX, got heavily into street/freestyle, loved backwoods and downhill mountain biking. So when it was time to get our son his first bike, I was a little excited, but resistant towards this type of bike. I was wrong to be resistant. My son went from cautiously scooting, to fast stepping, to coasting balanced with his legs up in a matter of a week. The spills he took were from a lower position so they were easier to overcome. A year on now and he is ready for a bigger bike with pedals, but the confidence and skills he picked up so quickly with this bike will serve him well with his new one. Tip: 1) we let our son ride the bike in the basement during the winter and set up little driving courses. HOWEVER, the wheels arent normal rubber wheels so when they take turns too fast they do run the risk of the wheels sliding out from under them. Scuffing the wheels up a little helped but ultimately there is no substitute for rubber wheels. The company website has traditional rubber wheels you can buy.
