Perfect!! Multiple display connections for whatever you have your rig set to. Comes with hdmi to hdmi cord. SPEAKERS: I read a lot of salty reviews on these here’s my take: on max they are a comfortable volume that I don’t think my house mates hear it throughout the house. I use headphones for surround sound accuracy, however, I used the speakers solely for a few weeks before switching back to headphones and was happy enough! NO EYE STRAIN. We all know what’s going on by now, work and school from home plus casual game streaming lead to some major eye strain, this has made my pandemic life a little easier. It increased my eye endurance which helps my focus. No strain since I started using this screen! Colors are beautiful, there are no flickers on the screen at all it runs my FPS rates flawlessly. I still have my old monitor and the color contrast is like looking at two totally different pictures. My roommate has 2 Benq monitors and this is my first, the technology in these are phenomenal and I highly doubt I’ll venture into other brands. Came quick, connects quick, great experience.

Being on a keyboard all day, I found that my dry eye problem was becoming worse. And working off a laptop led me with too small a screen to focus on. Being on a very small budget, there wasnt much choice in options. I chose this specifically because it talked about being easier on the eyes. Hallelujah! This truly is easier on my eyes. My eyestrain is seriously reduced and my dry eyes are no longer so dry. The size is ok for my work area, which is pretty small. I sit about the length of a full-sized bed away from the screen. Further away would be too far. Closer would be uncomfortable. Plan accordingly. There are two things that are mildly disappointing to me. First is the reduced sharpness of the picture. The one on my laptop is much sharper. Im trading off the larger size and reduced eyestrain for somewhat less sharpness. Ill live with it. The second is the inevitable near lack of speaker volume. Plan to either use headphones or attach secondary speakers. I use some small, inexpensive ones that are perfectly adequate to my admittedly unsophisticated and demanding needs. I use headphones when I am editing legal transcripts. All in all, Im perfectly satisfied that the product met my requirements. If I had the ability to get a top of the line eye-care monitor, Id jump at the opportunity. But in the beggers-cant-be-choosers category, this is surprisingly adequate.

My package arrived, banged up and torn. I was going to return it. So I called Amazon support. And with Amazon support, I was encouraged to open the box to see if it works or if there’s any damage. My screen wasn’t damaged. It looked great, and so we turned it all together. And I’m so glad I listen to the Amazon support person. Ethan. Thank you. My eyes are grateful to you. This is such a great product. If you have work from home, or if you have to do coding or you have to look at multiple screens at the same time. This doesn’t hurt your eyes. Or if you have a laptop with a crappy screen with high blue light and high flickering. This is a great alternative to add to it so you don’t have to look at that terrible screen. That was my case. And now I’m so glad. Within one day, my eyes are even better than before. So I might even return my glasses clipped that I bought just for this purpose.

I purchased this as a second monitor and decided to go a little bigger and this was a great price to size choice for me. The colors dont feel as good to me as my other monitor, but it delivers in its size, decently thin bezel, and the speakers are a nice addition too. (The speakers arent the greatest, but they certainly do the job of saving you a few bucks)

Its an elegant design with very small frame edges. I like the easy change of functions from the control button. I bought an Asus for $275.99 here at Amazon a few months ago, identical performance.

I am comparing this monitor with LG 27GN800-B, which is about twice more expensive. So its not a fair comparison. Side by side, color is not so impressive compared to the LG monitor. But overall this monitor is pretty good for its price.

My workstation consists of 4 monitors that I use to stare at charts and other small, fast moving data for hours at a time. Ive been getting headaches and having trouble focusing lately so I figured it may be time for an upgrade. I ordered one of these monitors to see if the eyecare technology was worth the hype. The difference in this display vs the 3 older ones I have is just incredible. The lighting is even and clean. I dont really know how to explain it but it just feels much more natural to look at. The issue Ive had with every monitor is probably the same as most people. I felt like I was always having to play with the brightness and contrast when bouncing back and forth between programs with a darker background and reading documents with a white background. This has solved that issue with its automatic light sensing and eyecare technology. The price is also spectacular for what this monitor offers. Ill be ordering 3 more to update the rest. Thanks BenQ! Update: Its been 7 months now with zero issues. Update: Almost a year now and still no issues. Also a small plus Ive noticed.. The plastic has a matte finish and is easy to clean. Other monitors Ive had start to look old quickly because the smooth plastic scratches easily while youre dusting it. Might not mean much to most people but Im a nut and thought it was worth mentioning.

Okay, take it from somebody whos into technology and knows quality when he sees it... these monitors are most definitely quality and at a very cheap price. I didnt want to upgrade from my old Dell 17 monitors, but when one burned out, I had to do it. It was time to go widescreen anyway. :-) After searching and searching, I decided to give these BenQ monitors a try mainly because of the reviews (okay, and low price too). Im SO GLAD I DID! Image is crisp and sharp. They produce little to no heat and they simply look gorgeous side-by-side! By the way, dont let the look of them when you unbox them fool you. The look of the screen almost seems like a matte, black finish. It seems like an old projector screen and you think, how can this finish create a clear image? But then, when you turn them on for the first time, they simply just Wow you! Trust me, it happened to me. Wasnt expecting that at all. LOL Also, when you connect the power cable, make sure you push it all the way in. Its a little hard, but its meant to be that way so that it has a solid and stable power connection. Seriously, couldnt find any cons to this purchase... Highly recommended! Jaime Ojeda

This monitor is great, and its great as a secondary monitor. It doesnt look bad next to an expensive screen. If youre looking for an additional screen under 27 good luck. Retailers are full of 22-24 1080p monitors which look the same as the ones that came with an HP/Dell desktop in 2007. Most have huge bezels. Most have a single HDMI plug. Most have a power brick. And many of them dont even have HDCP so you cant watch Netflix on them. This monitor has a 100 mm VESA bolt pattern so you can put it on any arm. It takes a regular power plug — no power brick. It has HDCP. Its a good IPS panel. Black looks dark. Theres slightly less light bleed than my more expensive LG screens. It has slightly smaller bezels than my other screens. And it has two HDMI inputs, so its easy for me to use as an additional monitor for both my home machine and work laptop. The menus are easy to use and you can even setup shortcuts to put your three most-used adjustments on the first menu level. The speakers are worse than most — which is quite the feat when you think of how bad built-in monitor speakers are — but I dont care about that. The only slight annoyance I have is that you cant dim the light on the power button. But its on the bottom edge of the screen, so its easy to put a little piece of black tape over it. Of course that partially blocks those awesome speakers LOL. This monitor is a 21.5 1920x1080 panel, so thats 102.5 dpi/ppi (pixels per inch). The bigger you go the worse itll look next to a monitor with higher resolution. My other two monitors are a 38 3840x1600 LG ultrawide (109.5 dpi) and a 25 2560x1080 LG ultrawide (111.1 dpi). 21.5 BenQ GW2283 — sqrt(1920^2 + 1080^2) / 21.5 = 102.5 dpi 25 LG 25UM58 — sqrt(2560^2 + 1080^2) / 25 = 111.1 dpi 38 LG 38WN75C — sqrt(3840^2 + 1600^2) / 38 = 109.5 dpi The 25 LG 25UM58 is also a good deal. It currently costs 50% more than the BenQ for 33% more resolution. Its 75 hz, but I think the BenQ might actually have a better response time if youre gaming on it. And the 25 LG has a 75 mm VESA bolt pattern and a power brick.

BenQ GW2780 27 inch frameless IPS monitor combines Ultra slim bezels with hidden cable management. Complementing BenQ exclusive eye-care technology with low Blue light technology and flicker-free performance for extended viewing comfort, industry-leading brightness Intelligence technology delivers exquisite details in any ambient lighting environment.
