Greater than one weekIt was a great product up until recently. It’s been about 2 years and 8 months since I ordered two of these. Last month, the first one completely died. Plugged in with multiple cables, wouldn’t even turn on. Now the button appears to be stuck on the second one, meaning the menu is ALWAYS being scrolled through. I’ve tried closing it, cleaning around the button being pressed, pressing it from multiple angles to see if it was stuck. I’ve had cheaper monitors that lasted for triple the time I’ve had these. Support was useless when I contacted them and never responded to any of my emails. Embarrassing for a company like BENQ to still have these problems.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a second monitor and decided to go a little bigger and this was a great price to size choice for me. The colors dont feel as good to me as my other monitor, but it delivers in its size, decently thin bezel, and the speakers are a nice addition too. (The speakers arent the greatest, but they certainly do the job of saving you a few bucks)

> 3 dayIve been pleasantly surprised with this Monitor. I mostly got this work on video editing, and Ive noticed that I dont have as intense headaches that I usually get from staring at a monitor all day. Ive seen prices jump on these from $120 to $200. Dont pay over the $120 price. I did order a second one because I do like the colors and it has helped with my migraines. For those of you looking for a gaming monitor, youll want to skip this one. It wasnt designed for it. I do some gaming on it, but only just for fun. 60Hz refresh rate and I tried to overclock the monitor and it cant be done. So youre not going to get over 60 fps on the monitor. There is also a 5ms delay. Again fine for everything else, but if you looking for a 1ms gaming monitor this isnt for you.

Greater than one weekWhile not a high end monitor it is an exceptional buy for the money. Perfect for those who want the convenience of using a laptop that doubles as a desktop. This monitor allows you to to view your laptop desktop and is very sharp and easy to use. In addition the monitor has speakers which also is a plus. An excellent buy for the money and easy to hook up and use. This is the second one we have purchased. My husband liked my laptop/monitor setup that he asked for one for his birthday. I would recommend this product whole-heartedly

> 3 dayTo start, you have to enable the automatic light adjustment before it actually will adjust itself. Since day one, the monitor adjusts perfectly in all lighting conditions from a pitch black room to the sun flooding the room with light. It does take a pinch to adjust to. At first it might seem like its too dim, but as you use it, youll notice its just right. Speakers... i mean if you have no other option, theyre there, cant get very loud at all but in a pinch would help you out. The best feature in my eyes quite literally is the lack of eye strain. I dont know exactly what causes it but I havent had it since I used this monitor. To give an example. On my old monitor, I could use it for even as little as one hour and suddenly would get this sensation like i just couldnt keep my eyes open. My eyes felt annoyingly sensitive to light and Id have to walk away or take a nap to let my eyes recuperate.

> 3 dayI originally got this to have handy for my basement home server setup, and it has worked well in that regard. I made sure to get an otherwise decent monitor in case it needed to be deployed into more frequent use, and the recent COVID-19 pandemic has seen my wife and I now both working from home. Thus this has been promoted to daily use. The included stand only requires one screw, and its captive in the stand (I previously had this mounted to a ceiling vesa mount). Thus when I needed to put this to use, I wasnt hunting for a screw. Well done. Its a very capable monitor with crisp text, good viewing angles, and multiple inputs (one of my requirements for use with my servers). The refresh rate is more at home in the workplace than for gaming, but thats fine for our uses. The brightness, contrast, and color reproduction were good out of the box, and we were able to refine each to meet my wifes needs. Recommended if you need a quality monitor for a home office and do not need to switch to a portrait orientation (without using a vesa mount, which this supports).

> 3 dayI am replacing my old iMac with a new PC but was very worried about finding a comparable screen for a reasonable price. I did a lot of research, read lists of budget editing screens, most of which were $300-$1000 -- still out of my current budget. Finally after reading tons of reviews on amazon I decided to try this one out and I am very pleased with this purchase! I got the 24 inch and played around with the settings a bit but really it was pretty great straight out of the box. I photograph portraits and weddings and I have a very vibrant style. Because of that I needed to make sure the color was pretty spot-on. I had used my husbands computer to edit a few times and found out the hard way that his screens color was way off and it can make peoples skin tones look sickly. So as soon as I get the monitor set up I pulled up images on both my iMac and the new BenQ screen and they looked very close! We actually noticed that my iMac whites are a little warmer so I pulled out a bunch of prints I have had made and started comparing and the BenQ seemed to be even More accurate to what my prints looked like! A lot of people complained that this screen is too bright, but I dont know if they have changed it since those reviews were written... it didnt seem too bright to me at all, I have it set to 100 brightness. Another reviewer posted settings to match the iMac display, but when I put the brightness level to 50 it was wayyy below the brightness of my iMac. So, I kept the settings pretty close to the automatic settings, I adjusted the gamma a little and a couple other things here and there. So I am very happy with this purchase, I will be sure to update if I have any issues or anything else to add!

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor to replace a 10+ old monitor on my work macbook. Im going from a 1920x1200 to 1920x1080 monitor and hate to lose the larger vertical space but thats what the majority of monitors are using these days! The only complaints I would have about this monitor are minor, 1. I perfer having an external clip behind the monitor as I have some cables that need to be run but out of the way that dont plug directly into the monitor itself (such as a camera and a mouse charging cable.) However, if this were a monitor that hat the back exposed I can see this being appealing and cleaner from both sides, just not something I would need. 2. The power button is big and bright underneath the bottom right edge of the monitor so its not obtrusive like the Xbox 1 controllers but its noticeable. If doesnt draw attention for the most part but is bigger and brighter than I would like. Neither of these is enough to ding a star since it does what I purchased it for and it looks great! Image quality is top notch (while IPS panels have a slower response time they produce much better color and image quality, Im not gaming but working so its just what the doctor ordered.) The imagine is nearly the same quality as the Macbook Pro retina display while using the proper profile. I really didnt have to do much to get it setup an working, unlike monitors of old where I could spend many hours tweaking to get just right. Im very happy with this purchase, especially since it popped up on my price watch at below $100!

> 3 dayI use this monitor to connect it to my work laptop through an HDMI cable, so I dont have to stare at a 13 laptop screen all day when working from home. The image on the BenQ monitor is not sharp. I can still read and I love the size (I can put 2 documents next to each other on the screen) but its just not as sharp as would be on my work laptop. Also as of a couple of days, the monitor goes to sleep when I shut the laptop closed, where is in the first week it would keep running which was great as I dont need my laptop open anymore when using the BenQ monitor, and it also preserved my laptop battery. Now BenQ just goes to sleep and I cannot wake it up so I can only work when laptop stays open. I didnt do any changes to the monitor settings so not sure what this is about.
