> 3 dayAmazing picture. Quality is amazing, sound from the fans are very low to unnoticeable. As they clearly state, mounting options are quite slim; especially horizontally. But if you are buying and using a 4k projector, you should know there is some difficulty getting the perfect mount positions. Resolution is so good I constantly notice how cheap my screen is..... =O

> 3 dayThere are many in depth reviews here, so I will just say that if you have and love your W1070, this is the perfect upgrade. Throw and lens shift are almost identical, so I simply bolted it to my existing ceiling mount and it works perfect! Picture is clear and crisp at all input resolutions, but best with 4K content. Contrast is better and HDR works great. As with the W1070, the fans are loud and distracting during low volume viewing and quiet dialog scenes. Worse for me since the projector is mounted on a 9 ceiling directly above my seating position. But there is a silent mode, which quiets the fans considerably, at the cost of HDR. So for TV, sports, etc, I keep it in silent mode. For movies where I have the volume cranked anyway, fan noise is not noticeable. Bottom line is this projector is highly recommended!

> 3 dayPicture quality Pic quality is excellent on this projector. Color reproduction is perfect. Gaming also works well. I have not experienced any noticeable lag while playing. Waiting for my ps5 to see how the 4k looks

> 3 dayWe built a new home with a small media room about 10x14 and after reviewing the throw distance of various projectors this is the one I settled on. My use was to be movie nights as well as casual gaming. First off, the setup of this projector was so easy. Simply plug in and adjust the focus and youre ready to go! I would suggest buying a quality mount to make it easier on you. I went with a $14 mount and although it works now it wasnt the easiet to adjust. The picture on this projector is outstanding!! I cant believe the quality of the image when viewing 4k videos. Youll def want to buy a proper screen and only use this projector in a light-controlled room though as it will fade when light enters the room. As far as gaming, I did not notice any input lag but I am only playing things such as RDR II and GTAV. Havent tried anything twitchy but I am getting too old for those quick movements anyways. The projector is mounted above my head and although you can def hear the fan noise it doesnt bother me (which actually surprised me as I am sensitive to noises like this). I will point out that this puts out a lot of heat so make sure you can keep your room comfortable. I am sure all projectors fall into this category though. Also - do not put the lamp in eco modes because it will not work with dynamic iris. I had to learn the hard way! Overall I am very happy and impressed with my first projector and not regretting this choice at all. You wont be disappointed.

> 3 daySo.. my Epson 5350 started having this screaming alarm when i would put in a new bulb.. decided to get a 4k.. first got the cheap epson (cant recall model but you cant get a good focus over the whole screen, sent it back) The Benq has a great picture... zero complaints.. Cept the fan is very loud.. 12-21-21 So.. i have a stuck pixel, luckily its near the edge on the right but its there and annoys me..i have tried Pixel fixers and they didnt help..This is easily the worst projector i have ever owned. I own 3 mitsubishis going back over 10 years and all 3 still work perfectly. BENQs picture quality doesnt matter if they make them loud and with dead pixels. I wish i had sent this back when i could have... DO NOT BUY ONE! So..

> 3 dayWeve had this projector for about 4 months now and have to say - its fantastic. Im sure you could spend more money and get a better picture, more features, etc, but for the price, I think this is the best you can get. We have a room that is a light beige color and windows on the back wall - if we wanted to watch this during the day without shades on the windows, the image would be a little dim. That said, any other time, the image is incredibly sharp and the HDR makes everything look great. Weve got it at about 135 and it looks amazing - highly recommended!

> 3 dayLove this projector! Replaced an aging, BenQ W1070 1080p projector with the HT3550, and could not be happier. Fits the same as the W1070 in my slightly smaller room, and produces a brilliant sharp 4k image. Movies and 4k content is spectacular. HDR required a firmware update out of the box. (1.0.3 to 1.0.5) that resolved HDR coloration issues to my satisfaction. Gaming works very well. Was a little worried about lag going in with the listed (~50ms) lag, but found it to be perfectly acceptable for couch console stlye gaming. No noticable difference in play to that of a standard 4k tv. Tested 3D content on Blu-ray and it worked beautifully with plenty of light and a bright image. At this price and feature level I highly recommend it!
