> 3 dayYeah, brother, this is the one you want. If the shower of sparks this monster produces doesnt start your kindling, go home.

> 3 dayThis rod is great; gives lots of hot sparks that stick around for a while. Id say the metal is on the softer side, which I personally prefer, because it makes it easier to get a fire going. (Im in Oregon where its always raining, so skimping on sparks is a recipe for a cold night...) I like to save money and cut weight were I can, so I went with the 5 one. 8 seems like overkill on a rod that, lets face it, is already a little bit overkill. (Though, if Im being honest, part of me still wants to buy the 8 one. Size matters, right?) Overall, very happy with the purchase. überleben is doing it right!

> 3 dayIf you have trouble holding on to or gripping smaller objects then this is what you need. My hands and fingers cramp up easily when I try to grab smaller objects. But this ferro rod is easy to grasp, hold on to and use. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayThis ferro stick is HUUUUGE and works VERY well! I am ecstatic about the quality! I will have fire for quite a while! This is a must for camping or hiking, but can be used everyday! I will probably be able to make a thousand fires with this!

> 3 dayGreat product. Good length for getting larger spark clusters. Totally worth it. 8” would be cool to, but a typical stroke from me probably wouldn’t use the whole length and I’m 6’2” with XL hands.
