Hey old guy
> 3 dayGreat size! Excellent long lasting spark. The thickness is comfortable in hand. And the overall length adds a level of confidence. My only change was high vis paracord lanyard. Just in case i drop it at night. Thank you for the high quality.

> 3 dayExcellent product. Would make a fantastic gift for not only boyscouts or those learning bushcraft, but for the hikers in your family as a piece of emergency gear for their backpack. Fast shipping and excellent customer service. Loyal customer on board here!

> 3 dayPerfectly serviceable ferro rod, I got the 8, this puppy is BIG! As for hardness though, Ive mainly only ever used the Bayite brand rods here on Amazon, and I would say this one is at least a step or two above those in hardness. Not a bad thing per se, it means this rod will last me FOREVER, but I dont feel like it throws the big gobby sparks Im used to, it throws smaller sparks, but more of them. In a quick test, both are perfectly capable of lighting a flat pad of paper towel though, so its personal choice. Remember, regardless of what equipment you use to start fires, its your skill level that matters most, so PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!
