This was a very nice umbrella, I like the fact that it takes triple A batteries, because I do not have a problem replacing those. And The shoulder straps to carry the umbrella is another plus about this umbrella. And I like the fact that the lights you can set on different colors and different motions. A cook out that I went to where I had to use this beautiful umbrella,, someone asked me to do them a favor and order one for them, they said they would pay me up front for it. I let them know they can order it off of Amazon.

I know they are selling this as lightsaber umbrellas BUT this is exactly like the umbrellas shown in Bladerunner. Since my husband is a fan of both Bladerunner and Star Wars this was perfect for him. The only problem is that the flashlight in the handle is too sensitive and you need to remove a battery when not in use. Otherwise it is so much fun. The colored lights/saber part help a lot on the dark and rainy days too.

It shows up well in the dark

I’ve bought like three or four of these now to make parasols for festivals and this one was by far the most annoying because of the touch-sensitive flashlight. But as someone else said just pull the handle apart and clip the wire, works for me since I have no desire to use the flashlight part anyway. I also don’t like how with these clear umbrellas, no matter what brand you get, the tips of the ribs are barely connected to the canopy. I had to reinforce those eight points with epoxy before I started to build the rest of the umbrella. Overall not bad we’ll see how it holds up coming up in a few weeks.

This umbrella is a fun addition to a rainy day. The kids went crazy when they saw it. But the only negative comment I had was when I first closed it. It pinched my hand. You have to hold it with your fingers when closing the umbrella, not with your whole hand.

I love this umbrella for the light saber on the staff. It changes colors each time you open the umbrella. I also love that it has a touch light at the end of the staff, which helps in walking at night. With the lights you can also be seen in the dark should you walking in heavy traveled areas. The one thing I most definitely dont like about this umbrella is that you have to push it open manually. There is no one touch button to open it, so if your hands happen to be full, its unfortunate but you will will need both to open the umbrella. This possible would have prevented me from purchasing, but I missed seeing this.

Ok, I admit it...Im a sci-fi geek. When I saw this I had to get it. The umbrella certainly came at the right time because the day after it arrived it was downpouring. This may seem somewhat gimmicky, but this is really a nice umbrella. It has a flashlight at the end of the handle and of course the cool light saber looking feature at the push of a button (which is also nice when youre walking in the dark), but this umbrella is also very sturdy and attractive. Also, a plus I wasnt expecting is that you can change the color of the lightsaber with multiple options, including red which is a good choice if you want a little light that doesnt mess with your vision at night. Sturdy personal umbrella for one. While the lights arent noticeable in daylight, they are sufficient in the night to guide my steps. The Shaft Light is fun but also is visible to cars, etc. on that dark and stormy night when Im on foot. All lights are powered via a 3 AAA Battery cartridge inserted in the base of the handle. Manually snaps up, slides down, with no lock to fumble with. Quick and easy. Has a velcro tab to secure the folds when collapsed and has a nice holster for storage. The BESTKEE logo is prominent in several places adding to the appearance. Very happy with this purchase...
