I love this umbrella, and the light works really well for visibility and being able to find my way. I love the flashlight on the end of the handle, but theres no on/off switch that I can find and it just sort of turns on when something passes under it. That means the flashlight randomly turns on and it can be tricky to get it to turn off because while just tapping it will turn it off, sometimes itll just turn back on as you pull your hand away. (This could be a user error, but Ive not been able to figure anything out myself.) The frame feels a little fragile and Im afraid that it could break if dropped or mishandled, but it didnt break even under strong wind. Overall, Id say its great for what it is! Its stylish, fun, and great for people seeing you in the dark! Do keep in mind that the entire inside lights up so in the dark it could blind you a little at times. The LED is very bright, which is great for lighting your way, but not so great for the eye closest to it. Im very pleased overall, and Id buy it again.

This thing is beyond epic! Gave it as a gift to the love of my life. Shes beyond happy with it and looks forward to the rain now. Its well made, but enough to last after a couple strikes over a mugger, hit them and run lol! Appears to be durable, but well see after a decade. Ill be back then to let you know lol!

I sought and bought from a friend’s similar umbrella. The button came off the first week, but despite that it’s given me joy since I bought it. Always remember to hang onto it, as many are apt to relieve you of it.

My wife had to have this Light Saber Umbrella and shed wanted it for Christmas but I couldnt get the site to work so I held off a few weeks and bought it for her birthday in January. It does what is says, the shaft lights up in different colors and is powered by AAA batteries hidden in the handle and the umbrella works well too. It is a gimmick and that is what she wanted. That being said the instructions and paperwork that came with it were almost comical, the translations were so bad that it was like reading a comic, not a pamphlet. Same can be said for the e-mail that the company sent me as a follow up. This doesnt affect the function or usefulness of the umbrella or light saber function, but it is worth noting IMO that the company is based overseas and wont invest in a decent translator, just my $0.02 for what it is worth.

Love it! Only thing is the bottom flashlight easily turns on with vibration and I keep it in my car so I have to flip 1 battery in the opposite direction to prevent wasting

An umbrella that is fun to own and fun to give. I’m a prig. I could give prig lessons, but when I saw this umbrella, I dropped my priggish ways and embraced the joys of the non-stuffy, non-British umbrella. Here’s why... this umbrella has safety features suitable for the care and continued wellbeing of the young and the elderly alike. This is becoming more important to me the older I become. The flashlight feature is capable of helping with sure footedness on dark nights in inclement weather, while the lighted shaft makes the owner/user known to others and thus safer from passers by. This lighted shaft can also be used as a warning light in an emergency or during a roadside incidents. I’m giving it to family members this Christmas, people I love. I think it’s a good item to keep handy in the car for bad weather and for the possibility of needed assistance.

This was a very nice umbrella, I like the fact that it takes triple A batteries, because I do not have a problem replacing those. And The shoulder straps to carry the umbrella is another plus about this umbrella. And I like the fact that the lights you can set on different colors and different motions. A cook out that I went to where I had to use this beautiful umbrella,, someone asked me to do them a favor and order one for them, they said they would pay me up front for it. I let them know they can order it off of Amazon.

Pros: it’s wide enough for 2 people, the light does change to different colors, and handling a strong wind it did flip to the other side but didn’t break. Con: The bottom light seems to trigger very easily so I have to keep turning it off every time it senses something other than my hand.

Had to remove batteries so it didn’t run down when wrapped as a gift. It has a touchy flashlight switch. The cool factor was definitely there however!

What an Awesome umbrella! It’s built very well and is not as tiny as I thought it would be. It’s definitely larger than the standard, tiny, flimsy ones and it is big enough for one person. I was so pleasantly surprised that I bought 7 more as Christmas gifts this year! I love that you can change the color. The light at the bottom of the handle turns on by just tapping it and can be on or off while using the umbrella. This is a great gift idea and it’s ideal for anyone caught in the rain at night in an area where there aren’t many street lights.
