Flashlight underneath handle is VERY sensitive. I recommend removing batteries until they are to be in actual use.

Bought as a gift for my husband, who is a huge Star Wars fan, and am incredibly pleased! Exceeded my expectations, especially for the price - sleek design, elegant look (wasnt expecting that!), high quality/durable materials, and super easy to operate. Opening/closing this umbrella is the easiest, smoothest, and most secure of any umbrella Ive ever used...no latches, buttons, or gizmos to fanangle or hurt your fingers. The only issue I have is with the flashlights touch sensor. It is very sensitive and often turns on when you dont want it on and if you touch anywhere near it. A removable cap on the flashlight end would be great. Overall, fantastic product and gift!

Ordered the umbrella in green (my Grandsons favorite color) but the green shown does not match the color received. the color is a much deeper dark green than pictured and the umbrella was just a little too big for a 11 yr. old. ( I understand it is a golf umbrella and are usually bigger than the average umbrella) He loves the lighted bottom and the quality is good.

There are apparently various options on this umbrella. See my list below. On a close inspection, they all look like slight variations on the exact same product. I actually bought this Bestkee version, and Zohls ZHO-8006. 1) Bladerunner If you want the bright fluorescent tube look of the movie umbrellas you will be DISAPPOINTED ! In reality, the transparent pole has several feeble, needle-wide lines of light, which fade as they run up the shaft from the handle. In Winter daylight ( no bright sun ) you dont really see anything at all. Even in pitch black the beams barely reach the canopy, although some colours ( green ) are better than others 2) Umbrella Surprisingly, the clear shafts seems quite strong. The handles are adequate, but in no way heavy duty. The electronics look pretty feeble and, according to other reviews, prone to failure. 3) Comparison Bestkee to Zohl They were all but identicle except: The canopy mechanism and fabric seemed more substantial and durable on Bestkee. Bestkee also had a cover with shoulder strap, and helpful explanatory manual- Zohl had neither. Zohls shaft light seemed marginally brighter side by side, but it was not significant. 4) Conclusion As a realisation of the Bladerunner concept they are a dismal failure. As an inexpensive umbrella with a gimic for nighttime they have some value, with the Bestkee the more substantial. 3 stars Variants listed by Amazon ASIN # in price order: B07DQH4WDT, B00HEQKGFM, B014GHMRBW, B075SVQ9CV, B00IIPMRO6, ZHO-8006, B074JYX2MZ, B073QMQBW5.

Had to remove batteries so it didn’t run down when wrapped as a gift. It has a touchy flashlight switch. The cool factor was definitely there however!

I know they are selling this as lightsaber umbrellas BUT this is exactly like the umbrellas shown in Bladerunner. Since my husband is a fan of both Bladerunner and Star Wars this was perfect for him. The only problem is that the flashlight in the handle is too sensitive and you need to remove a battery when not in use. Otherwise it is so much fun. The colored lights/saber part help a lot on the dark and rainy days too.

Love it! Only thing is the bottom flashlight easily turns on with vibration and I keep it in my car so I have to flip 1 battery in the opposite direction to prevent wasting

It was hard to find an umbrella for my son as hes outgrown some of the Thomas the Train, Superheros, etc kind of umbrellas made for boys. My 10-year-old son absolutely loves this! Its the size of an adult umbrella and looks very normal until you turn on the light on the handle and WOW! It turns blue! My son was also surprised to find out that the colors change as well! Green, red, yellow, blue, etc. Very entertaining. It was easy to put in the batteries as well and he did it himself. Such a very cool umbrella! Also kind of unisex as a girl could carry this as well. Thanks!!
