Greater than one weekI love this umbrella for the light saber on the staff. It changes colors each time you open the umbrella. I also love that it has a touch light at the end of the staff, which helps in walking at night. With the lights you can also be seen in the dark should you walking in heavy traveled areas. The one thing I most definitely dont like about this umbrella is that you have to push it open manually. There is no one touch button to open it, so if your hands happen to be full, its unfortunate but you will will need both to open the umbrella. This possible would have prevented me from purchasing, but I missed seeing this.

18-11-2024Sturdy personal umbrella for one. While the lights arent noticeable in daylight, they are sufficient in the night to guide my steps. The Shaft Light is fun but also is visible to cars, etc. on that dark and stormy night when Im on foot. All lights are powered via a 3 AAA Battery cartridge inserted in the base of the handle. Manually snaps up, slides down, with no lock to fumble with. Quick and easy. Has a velcro tab to secure the folds when collapsed and has a nice holster for storage. The BESTKEE logo is prominent in several places adding to the appearance. Very happy with this purchase...

> 3 dayI love this umbrella. The issue I have with it was the little flash light it has on the handle that is very sensitive. I wish it wasnt there or that it had a switch instead of touch activation. The slightest bump will turn on the light making the batteries wear out faster. There os no separate battery for just that one light so there is no way to just remove it for that one light. Over all it is a pretty fun umbrella that has color changing light saber and I love taking it out to the Disney parks.

> 3 dayI was definitely stoked to get this - its a late christmas gift for my husband. I did struggle a little getting the battery housing out. Be careful twisting and pulling it out - its super snug in there.

> 3 dayI know they are selling this as lightsaber umbrellas BUT this is exactly like the umbrellas shown in Bladerunner. Since my husband is a fan of both Bladerunner and Star Wars this was perfect for him. The only problem is that the flashlight in the handle is too sensitive and you need to remove a battery when not in use. Otherwise it is so much fun. The colored lights/saber part help a lot on the dark and rainy days too.

> 3 dayHave to say that so far this umbrella exceeds most of my expectations. Its well-made, opens and closes smoothly, and the light feature is brilliant. My only issue is the flashlight thing at the end of the stick- the sensor that turns it on is SUPER sensitive. The light is CONSTANTLY turning on randomly, sometimes without even being touched, both while Im carrying it and when its just set down in the floorboard of my car while Im driving around. Its running down the batteries very quickly. If there were an actual switch for that light, this would be an easy five-star review, but just thinking of how often Ill have to change the batteries to keep it glowing brightly takes away some enjoyment of it.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is so cool. I was certain it would seem flimsy or poorly made, but as soon as I opened the box, I was put in my place. Ths umbrella canopy, mechanism, and light bar are very sturdy and I have confident that this will work for a long time. The light saber rod has a flashlight at the bottom of the pole which is a white light that is different than the color changing part. THe umbrella mechanism slides open easily and is held in place with pressure, rather than a snap. I am giving this to my son for Christmas. He is 6 years old. When my 11 year old daughter saw it, she wanted it for herself and was disappointed. Oh well, such is life. Very happy with this umbrella and Im sure my son will be as well.

> 3 dayI ordered one for myself. Works great! Love that it changes different colors (although you have to cycle through all the colors to get to a specific color). It would be 5 stars for this but...the one I gifted as a white elephant present had a broken flashlight. The color changing part worked great but the flashlight at the base of the handle didn’t turn on. But overall happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayUmbrella is light weight, and I fear wind stripping the runner from the center ball string. No top spring to lock the canopy open and no ferrule to lock the canopy onto the center ball string. Scared to use it in any wind… Plan on using it more in the winter months as an umbrella and light while walking to and from work on semi dark. Wish the umbrella came in a larger canopy size and not just single child size. Slight issue with base of handle light touch spot. Very sensitive!
