This was a very nice umbrella, I like the fact that it takes triple A batteries, because I do not have a problem replacing those. And The shoulder straps to carry the umbrella is another plus about this umbrella. And I like the fact that the lights you can set on different colors and different motions. A cook out that I went to where I had to use this beautiful umbrella,, someone asked me to do them a favor and order one for them, they said they would pay me up front for it. I let them know they can order it off of Amazon.

We got a few of these a couple of years ago and decided we wanted to buy more to give as Christmas presents this year. Turns out they changed the design. You just need to touch part of the handle to turn it on, but now the light on the handle just randomly turns off and on. Even when its out away in the closet the light will randomly turn on and drain the batteries. We got of these and they both have the same problem.

It was hard to find an umbrella for my son as hes outgrown some of the Thomas the Train, Superheros, etc kind of umbrellas made for boys. My 10-year-old son absolutely loves this! Its the size of an adult umbrella and looks very normal until you turn on the light on the handle and WOW! It turns blue! My son was also surprised to find out that the colors change as well! Green, red, yellow, blue, etc. Very entertaining. It was easy to put in the batteries as well and he did it himself. Such a very cool umbrella! Also kind of unisex as a girl could carry this as well. My wife had to have this Light Saber Umbrella and shed wanted it for Christmas but I couldnt get the site to work so I held off a few weeks and bought it for her birthday in January. It does what is says, the shaft lights up in different colors and is powered by AAA batteries hidden in the handle and the umbrella works well too. It is a gimmick and that is what she wanted. That being said the instructions and paperwork that came with it were almost comical, the translations were so bad that it was like reading a comic, not a pamphlet. Same can be said for the e-mail that the company sent me as a follow up. This doesnt affect the function or usefulness of the umbrella or light saber function, but it is worth noting IMO that the company is based overseas and wont invest in a decent translator, just my $0.02 for what it is worth.

Got this for our son who is getting into Star Wars lately. We recieved it a day before it rained for 3 days straight and he used it every single time we walked out of the house on an errand or to walk the dog. Even if there was a break in the rain. It is well constructed, very durable and the perfect size for a young kid or adult. Only draw back is that the bottom flashlight is made to come on when tapping the bottom of the handle so it came on a lot even when not needed. Not a big deal, but a button for it would have been better like the one that changes the colors for the umbrella.

I had one of these previously and got loads of compliments on it. Be careful not to put anything heavy on it or the light part will snap and it really doesn’t do crazy wind. Otherwise it’s awesome and fun

Fun umbrella! The only complaint is that the light on the base randomly comes on without me even tapping it. Once it comes on its almost impossible to turn off.

This umbrella is so cool. I was certain it would seem flimsy or poorly made, but as soon as I opened the box, I was put in my place. Ths umbrella canopy, mechanism, and light bar are very sturdy and I have confident that this will work for a long time. The light saber rod has a flashlight at the bottom of the pole which is a white light that is different than the color changing part. THe umbrella mechanism slides open easily and is held in place with pressure, rather than a snap. I am giving this to my son for Christmas. He is 6 years old. When my 11 year old daughter saw it, she wanted it for herself and was disappointed. Oh well, such is life. Very happy with this umbrella and Im sure my son will be as well.

The good. The lights work as expected. Not the brightest LEDs, but they work. The bottom flashlight does turn on by itself which can be annoying. I haven’t had a chance to rain test them because they arrived after the 2 weeks of straight rain and it hasn’t rained after that.
