BESTKEE LED Umbrella - Lightsaber Laser Sword Light up Umbrella with 7 Color Changing On the Shaft/Built in Torch at Bottom (Black)

This was a very nice umbrella, I like the fact that it takes triple A batteries, because I do not have a problem replacing those. And The shoulder straps to carry the umbrella is another plus about this umbrella. And I like the fact that the lights you can set on different colors and different motions. A cook out that I went to where I had to use this beautiful umbrella,, someone asked me to do them a favor and order one for them, they said they would pay me up front for it. I let them know they can order it off of Amazon.

I love this umbrella for the light saber on the staff. It changes colors each time you open the umbrella. I also love that it has a touch light at the end of the staff, which helps in walking at night. With the lights you can also be seen in the dark should you walking in heavy traveled areas. The one thing I most definitely dont like about this umbrella is that you have to push it open manually. There is no one touch button to open it, so if your hands happen to be full, its unfortunate but you will will need both to open the umbrella. This possible would have prevented me from purchasing, but I missed seeing this.

There are apparently various options on this umbrella. See my list below. On a close inspection, they all look like slight variations on the exact same product. I actually bought this Bestkee version, and Zohls ZHO-8006. 1) Bladerunner If you want the bright fluorescent tube look of the movie umbrellas you will be DISAPPOINTED ! In reality, the transparent pole has several feeble, needle-wide lines of light, which fade as they run up the shaft from the handle. In Winter daylight ( no bright sun ) you dont really see anything at all. Even in pitch black the beams barely reach the canopy, although some colours ( green ) are better than others 2) Umbrella Surprisingly, the clear shafts seems quite strong. The handles are adequate, but in no way heavy duty. The electronics look pretty feeble and, according to other reviews, prone to failure. 3) Comparison Bestkee to Zohl They were all but identicle except: The canopy mechanism and fabric seemed more substantial and durable on Bestkee. Bestkee also had a cover with shoulder strap, and helpful explanatory manual- Zohl had neither. Zohls shaft light seemed marginally brighter side by side, but it was not significant. 4) Conclusion As a realisation of the Bladerunner concept they are a dismal failure. My son likes this a lot. It looks great with his Darth Vader rain boots. I like that the case has a carrying strap so that he can throw it over his shoulder and go on his way.. I would like it even more if the base were collapsible to make it more compact but that would probably mess with the saber aesthetics. Very cool product, the young Jedi loves it.

The light at the bottom of the handle is hard to turn off, it keeps turning on. I have to keep turning the knob or completely take out the batteries to ensure its off.

I bought this for the lightsaber aspect, but the flashlight on the bottom of the handle turns on by itself, sometimes it turns itself off, but usually not. The umbrella I got didnt have a push button on/off switch like in the description, it has some kind of rudimentary touch control, so I exchanged the first one I got, the second one did the same thing. Im just going to disconnect the bottom flashlight. Great idea for touch controls but very poor execution. We will see how the umbrella itself holds up over time.

I know they are selling this as lightsaber umbrellas BUT this is exactly like the umbrellas shown in Bladerunner. Since my husband is a fan of both Bladerunner and Star Wars this was perfect for him. The only problem is that the flashlight in the handle is too sensitive and you need to remove a battery when not in use. Otherwise it is so much fun. The colored lights/saber part help a lot on the dark and rainy days too.

I sought and bought from a friend’s similar umbrella. The button came off the first week, but despite that it’s given me joy since I bought it. Always remember to hang onto it, as many are apt to relieve you of it.

We loved it. Our 8 year-old niece begged us to let her play with it every time she came to our house, so she got one of her own for her 9th birthday. Walking the dog in the rain just got FUN and weve met so many of our neighbors while using it.

Everyone compliments this! Human see shiny light human like. It’s great quality and is big enough to protect you from the rain. The lights look nice and there’s a ton of variety. The flashlight in the handle is super useful for finding things.
