> 3 dayMy wife had to have this Light Saber Umbrella and shed wanted it for Christmas but I couldnt get the site to work so I held off a few weeks and bought it for her birthday in January. It does what is says, the shaft lights up in different colors and is powered by AAA batteries hidden in the handle and the umbrella works well too. It is a gimmick and that is what she wanted. That being said the instructions and paperwork that came with it were almost comical, the translations were so bad that it was like reading a comic, not a pamphlet. Same can be said for the e-mail that the company sent me as a follow up. This doesnt affect the function or usefulness of the umbrella or light saber function, but it is worth noting IMO that the company is based overseas and wont invest in a decent translator, just my $0.02 for what it is worth.

> 3 dayI love this thing, makes me smile. It finally rained and I got to use it. I wish the flashlight was a push button/switch as the sensor is really sensitive and turns itself on constantly.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is sleek, cool looking, and has so much potential, but it has a plastic handle which will be prone to breaking even with careful use. Ive used this umbrella less than twenty times, for about five minutes each use, and its only been in light rain. What otherwise looks like a practical design for what it is, Im disappointed that the handle is only plastic and not something stronger like aluminum. I wouldve paid a few extra bucks for a material that could stand up better to normal use. Otherwise, its a really neat umbrella. Ive gotten a lot of comments on it, and get pretty excited any time it rains so I can go nerd out with my cool lightsaber umbrella.

> 3 dayPros: it’s wide enough for 2 people, the light does change to different colors, and handling a strong wind it did flip to the other side but didn’t break. Con: The bottom light seems to trigger very easily so I have to keep turning it off every time it senses something other than my hand.

> 3 dayOrdered the umbrella in green (my Grandsons favorite color) but the green shown does not match the color received. the color is a much deeper dark green than pictured and the umbrella was just a little too big for a 11 yr. old. ( I understand it is a golf umbrella and are usually bigger than the average umbrella) He loves the lighted bottom and the quality is good.

> 3 dayI bought this for a raffle prize for a Star Wars themed baby shower. I was hoping it would be as cool as it sounded on Amazon...and Boy, I wasnt disappointed! The color changing LED is so neat, there is a nifty flashlight at the bottom, and it comes with a cover with a handle on it for convenience. I am giving 4 stars because I didnt have a chance to use it in the rain....So I cant rate on functionality. 5 Stars on cool factor. Seems sturdy enough and well made.

> 3 dayI ordered this as an Easter gift for my son. I must not have read the description well and was also disappointed because I ordered black and the umbrella is blue. We opened it and had it upside-down holding his Easter loot for him to find. He was super excited and loved the blue. I didnt realize the light up part does all the colors. In the end I was super happy with the purchase and my sun loves it. It also opens and closes very smoothly and feels like it will last.

> 3 dayIts ok. Its just a regular umbrella. The battery setup is cheap and hard to figure out. I wonder how long it will last. You have to line a specific part of the battery pack just right or it will not turn on. Pay special attention when putting in the batteries. The lights are barely visible, even on a dark day. Mostly, my gripe is with the lights. It looks like its really vibrant, but, its not, You can barely see the color of the light at all. The rest of the umbrella looks like any old regular black umbrella. Also, when you are actually holding the umbrella in the rain, the light stick portion of it is not visible from the outside. I wouldnt spend the money. Its a gadget. Not impressive at all.

Greater than one weekI ordered one for myself. Works great! Love that it changes different colors (although you have to cycle through all the colors to get to a specific color). It would be 5 stars for this but...the one I gifted as a white elephant present had a broken flashlight. The color changing part worked great but the flashlight at the base of the handle didn’t turn on. But overall happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella is a fun addition to a rainy day. The kids went crazy when they saw it. But the only negative comment I had was when I first closed it. It pinched my hand. You have to hold it with your fingers when closing the umbrella, not with your whole hand.
