Greater than one weekLove it! Only thing is the bottom flashlight easily turns on with vibration and I keep it in my car so I have to flip 1 battery in the opposite direction to prevent wasting

> 3 dayThis umbrella ROCKS! It was a gift for my husband. It dries quickly so he doesnt have to carry around a drilling umbrella. The saber aspect of it has the option to choose a color or even have them alternate. They all look really vivid and beautiful, especially at night. The flashlight on the bottom is really helpful at night when were walking our dog too. My husband gets tons of comments on this umbrella and I plan to buy more in the future. Really, its the coolest umbrella ever.

19-11-2024Had to remove batteries so it didn’t run down when wrapped as a gift. It has a touchy flashlight switch. The cool factor was definitely there however!

> 3 dayI will update if necessary but as of this review on 3/31/18 The TL:DR is that I love this umbrella and you should definitely buy it especially if you are a Star Wars fan. The build quality while could be improved, but it is great and seems like it wont be an issue. The plastic all-around seems sturdy enough that unless you WANT to smack it around like an actual lightsaber then you should be fine. There are 6 color modes it gives you basically every flavor you can want. I bought this for my GF and I will buy again for myself :) There a couple of quirks that I find odd like: 1) The flashlight is on the bottom of the handle. If it is raining you can only point it to the ground to help you see where you are walking... Maybe that is the point, because if it isnt then its pointless because if you have it its most likely already raining and so you wont tilt it to use it like a flashlight outdoors. Im not complaining as I wasnt expecting it, I merely find the positioning odd. 2) There is no locking mechanism like on almost every other umbrella once you fold it down/in to put it away, but with it rigidity it doesnt seem to be a problem. 3) What is exactly the point of the alternating light mode? Im not an engineer or electrician, but it seems like a waste of resources.

> 3 dayWe loved it. Our 8 year-old niece begged us to let her play with it every time she came to our house, so she got one of her own for her 9th birthday. Walking the dog in the rain just got FUN and weve met so many of our neighbors while using it.

Greater than one weekUmbrella is light weight, and I fear wind stripping the runner from the center ball string. No top spring to lock the canopy open and no ferrule to lock the canopy onto the center ball string. Scared to use it in any wind… Plan on using it more in the winter months as an umbrella and light while walking to and from work on semi dark. Wish the umbrella came in a larger canopy size and not just single child size. Slight issue with base of handle light touch spot. Very sensitive!
