> 3 daySo Ive tried TONS of protein powders...you name it, Ive probably tried it (Optimum, BSN, Chocorite, wonderslim, EAS, designer, aria...you get the idea). Of course there are different types and this one is an 80:20 blend of cassein:whey, but let me tell you the taste is AMAZING!!! I usually never like vanilla protein, but this stuff is great. I was looking at protein shake recipes on youtube and came across a video and this is what the lady used in some mocha peanut butter shake and when she tasted it she made it seem like it was the best thing she ever ate - you know, like how Rachel Ray does mmmm, mmmm, MMMMM, ooohhh this is yuumm-o lol! I was thinking I know its not that good! But of course I had to try it, and so glad I did! I love to have a protein shake for breakfast to help with weightloss. I was using just Optimum Nutrition whey, but of course since it is digested quickly, Im hungry again in an hour, even with 2 scoops. So now this is how I make my shake: -Fill a 28 oz. blender bottle with about 4 oz. water -Add 1 scoop UMP vanilla, and 1 scoop Optimum Double Rich chocolate -Add a spoonfull of instant folgers decaf coffee (sometimes I use caffeinated instant, but trying to cut back on caffeine or if I take a preworkout that already has caffeine in it I definitely use decaf). -Add a capful of sugarfree vanilla syrup (I use torani cause thats what they sell at Wally World) -Then, fill to the top with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, shake, let it sit for a couple minutes to let the coffee dissolve, then shake again...voila! Doesnt even taste like a protein shake. I have this every morning and sometimes during the day to get some extra protein or if Im hungry and want something quick and filling. It tastes delicious and keeps me full for at least 3 hours. My husband says all protein powders are nasty, well he made a shake with this in just water one day and told me, hey, that UMP stuff aint bad, translation, its the bomb dot com! A little pricey, but worth it and since I mix it with Optimum it lasts longer (not that Optimum is much cheaper). Amazon has a good price on it and its even better with subscribe & save or if you shop at Netrition.com its $36.49 there if you have some other things to get you can snap some of this up too...highly recommended!

Greater than one weekDissolves well and has a sweet taste, but does not taste like graham cracker. More of a sweet vanilla.

Trust Me, I Bought It
> 3 dayI just really feel the need to clarify something because I buy things by relying solely based off of reviews and want to clear up any misconceptions about the taste. Im reading reviews saying amazing taste! Flavor is so good! So tasty tastes so good! Well, it does not taste good. This is not a shake youd pick up just because it tastes good if it had no nutritional value. It still has that chalky protein after-taste that all protein shakes have. This one is just sweetened to a degree that makes you unable to taste it as much. When iy first hits your taste buds it tastes amazing. It tastes like what cookies and cream is supposed to taste like! Then a few seconds later it feels like you just drank liquid chalk with cookies and cream ice cream in it. BUT, I will say that for a protein shake, this is the best Ive tried. Its the one I can tolerate most. There are some I can barely seem to swallow because they make me want to gag. This is why Im giving this 5 stars. It tastes good considering its a protein shake.

> 3 daySo any Beverly product is great, but UMP is the best. Im on a quest to earn my IFBB card in bikini, and with UMP, you cant go wrong. The quality is FAR superior to some of the larger, more pharmaceutical brands, as well as the lesser known brands. The people who produce UMP are bodybuilders themselves, and they know how much hard work goes into developing lean muscle. The way I see it is, it isnt worth it to do all of that work in gym only to lose muscle gains or develop mediocre gains by using a sub-par product... With UMP I can immediately tell the difference in my muscle pump, hardness, and development. This is especially noticeable when Ive run out of UMP and have had to resort to using lesser quality powders. Im also able to gain muscle in shorter periods of time, and still maintain (or decrease) my body fat percentage as needed. I LOVE the Cookies & Cream UMP (the negative with Cookies is that it has HFCS), but the chocolate is pretty tasty too (and there is no HFCS); it tastes like a brownie. I mix mine with water or liquid egg whites and drink it that way; the taste is pretty great, especially when youre on a prep diet and craving sweets. With the egg whites its like a DIY Muscle Egg (especially when you add a drop or two of Lorann Culinary Oil)!

> 3 dayI have gotten more dairy sensitive as I age and even this one didnt pass that test for me, unfortunately. I will say, this is the best tasting protein powder Ive ever had. Not chalky or overly sweet. It tasted like natural vanilla.

07-06-2025I started going to the gym regularly after 12 years of eating horribly and having a child, so I willingly bought supplements from my gym. The only flavor I really liked from them was chocolate peanut butter, and I was running out after a month. I tried their vanilla, and it was bland and quite disgusting. I researched for hours for a decent vanilla flavor since I cut back on desserts significantly, and I’ll admit, I wanted my protein shakes to be a treat but also be good for me. I compared UMP to ON, Ka’Chava, Orgain, Transparent Labs, etc. I finally decided to give it a go, and read great reviews on Rocky Road (far from basic vanilla). Hands down, it is the best in quality, viscosity, and flavor! It’s chocolatey with marshmallow notes, and it keeps me full for a few hours. I’m not bloated whatsoever, and my stomach doesn’t feel gross after drinking it. I actually look forward to working out and having it post/for breakfast. For anyone looking for a shake that genuinely tastes like a treat along with the benefits, I highly recommend UMP. I was skeptical at first because of price, but I’ll be only using this brand now!

Greater than one weekSo I have been taking this protein about two months now . Flavor: Cookies and Cream . I would say this Beverly protein is the most tolerable in flavor for me compared to other brands. I rate it in flavor a 4.3 (mixed with 1% milk). I have not experienced any bloating whatsoever and I always look forward to drinking after my workouts. I recommend to anyone who is seeking a good tasting protein powder with all the great benefits. I know ladies out there would definitely appreciate this protein brand! I will definitely be ordering the rocky road next time since I hear it’s perfect in flavor! Be advised : the only downside is the amount of protein powder they package in the container . I would say it is only 3/4 full .
