No problems with noise. Sounds like a fan . I really dont feel it cleans air that well. Ive had better.

Having an AQI sensor with an auto mode is pretty rare for purifiers at this price range. BlueAir is really cool for creating something inexpensive to be a set it and forget. I’ve tested and tried many different air purifiers and while I have a favorite already, this one really deserves its praises. For starters, I want to say this is definitely a bedroom-centric purifier and isn’t meant for larger open concept spaces (Opt for the 311 Auto for bigger area). The 411 auto is virtually silent on level 1. Level 2 is also pretty quiet but has a very gentle breeze sound (personally my fav for sleeping bc the white noise is calming). Level 3 definitely is a jump in sound but is good for brief quick air cleaning. Auto mode is pretty accurate with detection rate. I put out a candle that was relatively close proximity to the purifier and the sensor light turned red and gradually revved up to sift out the smoke. In another test, I blew out a candle that was further away from the purifier across the room. The sensor did take longer to begin revving up the fan (about 5 mins give or take) but nonetheless still managed to detect. I find dissipation of odors and smoke to be pretty decent. Today I was indecisive about outfits and tried on many diff things while looking in the mirror and I guess all the dust and lint kicked up and got the little guy revving up. All this to say, the AQI sensor and Auto Mode is great! Other positives: -low power consumption. It’s gonna be so inexpensive on your electricity bill. Only 10watts of power max! -stylish! The prefilters are very attractive I’m in a very modern minimalist space with black and whites and grays. The default pre filter it ships with fits perfectly! Diff decor? They have many different colors for you. I have to say, I doubted this thing for a bit because of its seemingly lacking power. It reminded me a lot of the Levoit Vista 200. However that model is awfully weak and not worth the money. I believe the reason why the Blue Pure 411 Auto works so efficiently well, is because it is 90% filter. There’s no plastic unibody or restrictive intake grills. Just fabric and filter. Because of this, less fan power is needed to pull in air through several layers of plastic holes and super dense materials. Pretty innovative and a true example of “less is more”. Highly recommend for those who want a stylish, efficient minimalist air purifier for a small space.

I bought 2 of these because I wanted one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Living Room - I have noticed a dramatic decline in Dust in the room. Everytime we Dust, it would take about 2-3 days to have a coating of Dust again on tables, end tables, etc... (We have alot of electronics in the living room & 3 dogs) Now it takes about 11-13 days to be visibly on the same level as before. Bedroom - When we wake up we noticed a big difference after the 1st night with it. Our sinuses were alot clearer and breathing just felt better. May be a bit bias and maybe I was looking for it and noticed it but, we have been with it for a couple months now and I am still happy with them. I sleep with noise from a TV and the living room one also has a AC in the window near it so, I may not be the best to determine the noise level tolerance. When it is Red and using the high fan to really clean the Air, you will hear it though but, to me that is just it doing its job. Doesnt really bother me even when watching a movie or anything either. In conclusion - Noise Level - perfectly fine to me - Maneuverability - Soooo Easy to move where needed - Cleanability - Cleaning the exterior cover filter is as easy as vacuuming and/or tossing it in the wash. Interior HEPA filter needs to be replaced to be cleaned and right now its about 40 bucks for a replacement but, at about 6 months a replacement I feel it is still worth its while. Honestly, will be getting 2 more when we finish the basement.

I share an office with a smoker and was often hit by the smell of stale smoke when I walked in. The office itself also began to smell like smoke. I bought this filter for its size and look that blends in with the other furniture. I can still smell stale smoke when I pass my coworkers desk, but the smell no longer reaches my desk and the office is back to smelling like nothing!

Its nice, but that sticker on the top of the power button when its new is quite difficult to remove

Liked how quiet it is

I have a typical ceiling fan in my 13’x15’ ft bedroom, fan set to about medium, pulling upwards for winter circulation. Fan is in opposite corner of where I sit and vape and read and write on this thing, and within like 5 seconds of exhaling a cloud of vapor the fan on the air cleaner ramps up, gets rather loud honestly, though I don’t mind it. It very clearly lets me know it’s working and how sensitive whatever pollution sensor is inside it is. So far, I’m quite happy with it and from what I can tell so far as to the condition that the filter is in, that it’s doing a heck of a job too… we’ll see if it lasts 6 months. ;)

I use the air purifier for my cats area where their littler boxes are and I can’t even smell it it’s super amazing

I didnt believe that home air purifiers would make much of a difference in my home. The AC is always on, there are 4 cats, several people, and someone is always entering or exiting the house. Dust and particles are always in the air. Ever since I got this Blue air filter, it has completely changed the air in my home. My eyes dont burn and itch at all whereas before, they did every day and I just attributed it to the 4 cats. Since I got this, Im a believer. I dont see dust in the air, there are no more little cat hairballs rolling around mimicking tumbleweeds in a desert. Im very happy with this and I got one for every bedroom in my home which has contributed to a better sleep, in my opinion. I thought this wouldnt make a difference. I was wrong. This is highly recommended.

This is the 3rd purifier I got from Blueair. The quality of the product is really good as always. The higher than average CFM, compared to other brands (coway or dyson) in similar size, circulates the air faster, and allows the machine to cover a larger area. One thing that I learned from researching for air purifier is that Blueair filters are technically not HEPA certified. They call themselves HEPASilent which is not HEPA certified. The only products that are really HEPA certified are the ones marked with True HPEA, and Blueair is not one of them. However, they did have individual test result to prove their filtration, and many tests are also available on youtube, so I wasnt too concern about it. Love the auto mode, which my Classic 605 doesnt have, making it a perfect choice for bedrooms since the machine would slow down automatically at night and stay quiet.
